Introduction

This is my non-concise contemporary history capture of 2011 and 2012. Presenting my own worldview Honest History regards phenomenal events and provides commentary on select social and political phenomena concerning Americans. Excreted through the broadcast media and oozed on the Internet information first reported by others is sometimes syntheziezed and frequently considered with historical and philosophical tools. Some data is also of the first person kind. Historical perceptions written live in real-time rather than with a detached, post hoc retrospective may bring a better review of how the events of the day were regarded by history readers of the future.

The following essays of about 246,000 words comprise the a tip-of-the-iceberg of U.S. historical events worth a mention that happened over a couple of years.

Even with the passing of a year from when the last essays were written it is instructive to contrast how little the state of the U.S. political economy has changed as public debt deepened, American and U.S. Airlines have merged and Wall Street banks continue to purchase Main Street for the benefit of the global elite. An author has published a book named ‘The Crash of 2016’ already expecting a repeat of the 2008 banking debacle that leads us to wonder if we ought not think of the corporate mega-banks as of a genre of ‘The First Bank of Subversion’ rather than reinforcing institutions of social stability.

This first volume is a makeover of Global Networks of Power Volume 1. I feel in retrospect that the title was a little too ambitious for the content. Global networks of power today are worthy of a far better and more detailed treatise than is incidentally presented in this book.

The U.S. Government has made Orwellian hate crimes legislation a general premise to intervene in politically incorrect crimes upon conditions decades of decay with pejorative palaver.  No reform to transform the broadcast media into ordinary citizen podcast use is on the F.C.C. radar screen.

President Obama signed off on legislation giving the military the right to exfiltrate U.S. citizens without legal review to unspecified foreign torture facilities where they may disappear forever and has forced corporate medical insurance upon all citizens as well as seeking to force all religious organizations to provide birth control paraphernalia directly to employees through insurers.

Following the attack on the rich in the World Trade Center in 2001 American democracy has been progressively stifled and wealth concentrated with onerous public debt building up along with high unemployment. Today the public debt is 15 trillion 699 billion dollars. The rich scorched by terrorist death took out their vengeance upon the poor and middle class of the United States creating a ubiquitous surveillance state. They have no intention of reforming a version of capitalism in need of egalitarian upgrade.

In a year where the administration encouraged homosexual marriages in several states, military and District of Columbia supporting legislative and judicial imposition of the policy upon the people, and where federal judges have ruled against a California proposition to make marriage just for heterosexual couples, and in Arizona and more states the right to verify citizenship of people encountered in routine police stops, the shape of elite federal policy is beginning to coalesce into a basic attitude.

Writing retroactively as historians usually do can make it rather difficult to recover a sense of social perceptions and options that existed from the point of view of an individual experiencing and reacting to what was then the present. Americans are in theory citizens of a democracy with equal protection of the laws rather than subjects of authorities deciding their political states of affairs for them. Networks of power tend to eclipse theoretical democracy and individual liberty and replace it with socially and empirically totalizing economic and social structures. Hypothetical freedom and free enterprise facts of life today that existed phenomenally in earlier historical times are increasingly difficult to regard as more than corporate and network facades.

It may be argued reasonably that in the first 150 years of U.S. history the nation was a greedy man's dream world with plenty of land and opportunities to support a prevalently libertarian economy even as capital began concentrating during the industrial revolution. The founder's ideals functioned well when the citizens were not really challenged to construct a democracy with egalitarianism in a challenging, populous social environment as in the third millennium.

Some Americans believe in error that returning to the political philosophy of the founders suitable for the first 100 years of the nation in a Libertarian context without the abundant land and natural resources that were available to citizens in the 18th century America could resume prosperity without public or even carbon dioxide debt rather than chaos. Actually, a reform of capitalism capping citizen concentration of wealth and ownership of shares in more than three corporations would be the basic social adjustment needed to bring citizen and moderate size business free enterprise to a prominence that it had in the first century of the U.S.A.

In the absence of reform, concentrations of wealth and power enabled with instant global communication establish hegemony over political, social and economic structures with anisotropic advantage. The economy is simultaneously globalized and the national interests decline as the political philosophy of the founders is farther eclipsed and transformed into an excuse to serve the concentration of wealth, power and global networks of power.

A scientific study found that of 43,000 corporations a small core tightly controlled more than a third of the global economy (SN9-24-2011-page13). Networks may be controlled by minority elites and shape the real economic and social development of the time. In these essays I will try to capture a sense of the apparent possibilities and constellation of concerns of the time, though for a philosophical generalist it is a process a like firing at a moving target in the dark.

Practical Meanings of Regulation and Deregulation for Governing

The parable of the Long Island's taxi service within a free enterprise versus socialized or corporate environment is simple and illustrative for the challenges facing the U.S. Government and way of life of the people of the United States today.

On a Long Island there is a city with millions of people with a need for taxi service. There is enough work for maybe 20,000 taxis and drivers. How does one keep individual free enterprise best supported in that environment? The answer is obviously to limit the number of taxis or drivers in the employee of any individual to a percentage of the over-all number of taxis.

Regulation can mean many things; it can have several different definitions and uses. Regulations may liberate as well as repress. That is the nature of governance; any large organization with power may govern or shape the social environment in fact if not in name.

On the long Island companies A, B and C have gained an advantage and capitalized concentrating their wealth and grow to own 99% of the taxis on the street putting their rivals out of business. Their need for competitive innovation declines. Capitalism has been corrupted and free enterprise opportunities extirpated. Companies A, B and C are bought by a predatory global bank and finally the local government passes laws in support of the taxi owning bank.

With regulation designed to keep local free enterprise normalized a regulation limiting the number of taxis anyone might own in the Long Island environment at 100 might have been passed to keep at least 200 independent taxis companies in existence. The competition to get more fares might have driven the innovation of electric cars with faster recharging batteries and better route plotting navigation systems through traffic with real time-information on road traffic flow conditions. That is not some form of socialism-the state owns nothing, it simply uses regulation to keep real free enterprise alive instead of a nominal free enterprise in the corporate state kicking back to politicians.

The Corporate state is advancing through networks and globalism to reduce the prospects for dissident, competitive free enterprise. Intelligent regulations designed to stop the concentration of wealth in an extreme minority through support for free enterprise would be useful for the defense of American economic opportunity, creativity, independence and national security.

J.P Morgan Drops Two Dimes/The Diners' Dilemma

J.P Morgan lost two billion dollars recently, apparently in derivatives trading highlighting the point that the flim sector of the U.S. economy outpaces the production sector, as it logically should. The new computing and trading algorithms that banks have to take abstract profits with trading guided by physicists not sharp enough to get academic tenure yet consoled with million dollar pay is just an example of the philosophical/sociological problem called the Diners' Dilemma or the Prisoners' Dilemma.

If some people don't pay the check at a dinner party they profit yet if no one pays the check they go to jail or wash dishes etc. If people voluntarily comply with laws and good government, economic reason and a modicum of altruism the society flourishes generally while of they don't it piles up debt.

It is very easy for everyone to be irresponsible on economic policy and like the President allow nature to take its course as if it were micro-economics and required no oversight or ecological relevance-such policies of just bailing out banks and automotive corporations to let the scamming of profits from the world with trading, banking and abstract economic tricks represses the for productivity and builds a structure of world trade bubbles that collapse when so many people and businesses rely non the bunk for support. When if falters the government runs to prop it up again and again until the real day of economic judgment arrives with a vengeance.

The British rely upon global finance and trading and reinforce that policy in the English-speaking world that is not coincidentally in decline economically. The United States has 30% of its 'work'force employed in financial related services; the New Freedom Bubble of global trading/derivatives/mortgage/environmental crisis probably will build up unless Mitt Romney is interested in correcting it.

President Obama; The Homosexual Community Organizer With the New Dialectical Political Evolution

President Obama came out recently in support of homosexual ‘marriage’ bringing some to wonder if a homosexualized America is at the core of his economic policy. The President's community organizer job role training appears to be most concentrated upon transitioning the United States into a butch dominion of pervasive homosexual tendencies.

One might guess that if men were to move into more female roles in the workplace with a softer, effeminate, busy work lifestyle it might be better for dominitrixes in management. It might be possible to derationalze the national and social economic boundaries enough to make the new normal a perverse sadistic-masochistic domination of the economy by concentrated wealth with the electorate unconcerned about public debt, personal economic security and practical loss of the freedom to make opposing political expression.

Since the Clinton administration made fellatio (derived from the word fellaton not inflaton) the new normal for democratic leaders, the evolution of dialectic to replace the lost Marxist dialectic has drifted to settle upon the narrow shoulders of the Democratic Party in a gay alliance evolving toward national homocracy. President Obama received a Nobel Peace prize even before killing his first hundred terrorists with predator drone strikes, so the weight of the fellaton has descended upon his shoulders such that he finally came out not satisfied with ending don't ask, don't tell.

Like the historical Marxist dialectical battle with capitalism, the homoerotic dialectic wages pragmatic war upon the boundaries of non-coopted antipathetic personal civil liberties and concatenated rational expressions of non-conformist weltanshauung in the public spaces. In an era where work and self-directed private enterprise are in decline in light of networking and collectivism, transcendence of traditional economic logic with homocractic bureau-corporatic transition funded with debt and exploitation of distal production sources is logical.

In Sodom and Gomorrah of yore-the United Kingdom of its day, the populace was out after dark partying and sexing impudent enough to accost angels visiting their city-principalities. Fully employed workers with good work ethics do not stay out all night perpetrating orgies in the public square sleeping in late the next day and stumbling through the afternoon with a hangover.

Like the vanished cities of Sodom and Gomorrah a homoerotic evolution toward a future U.S.A. of non-productive financial sector and bureaucratic core of perverts running on borrowed time appears to be the course of the new Marxist dialectic.

Americans had no interest in violating the civil liberties of homosexuals to create contracts binding themselves financially to one another even if in standardized form, yet the compulsory public education indoctrination in homocracy that has edged its way into public schools though federal pansification policy and charges of bullying of dissidents (e.g. Christians) concurrently with logically unsupported proliferation of the atheist doctrine that has simultaneously expropriated science and made it a tool for the religion of atheism makes the government a fundamental agent for the depravity of the social environment of the United States.

The official federal decadence of the Obama administration is not without economic consequences. Its destruction of family values with the obfuscation effects of homosexual marriages will eliminate the family over time from existence and leave a B.F. Skinnerian organic mass electorate in which philosophical thought is non-valued. Philosophical thought is the heart of human existence as more than an organic being equivalent to the amoeba and eukaryotic organisms of no significance.

Human thought is of value. Philosophical thought phenomenally transcends the mere organic phenomenalism that nihilistic atheists and Dakinsians determine the transmission and propagation of D.N.A. to be the only meaning. Semiotics-signs and the philosophy of language enabling expression of advanced concepts also lend support to advancing though structural concepts about God and His relationship to the data of beings He creates for whatever reason. Such philosophical though would never occur to atheists.

One wonders if the three generations of quarks comprising the color force binding nuclei together are a reflection of the three persons of God or comparable to the monads of Leibnitz philosophically? One wonders how a nihilistic homocratic core of educators has taken over American schools to promote public perversion and mandatory dialectic confrontation with heterosexual normal marriage and free enterprise liberties?

Anti-religion Science Advocates Wimp Out on Giordano Bruno Issue

Giordano Bruno was burned by the Roman Inquisition in 1600 for his 'heretical' scientific ideas and has been held for ages to have been a martyr for science destroyed by religion. Yet isn't the truth better said that Bruno was a victim of politics?

The Medici and other Italian families had used the papacy for political purposes before. The Catholic Church of the era was one actor in a vast political drama of contention for power. Hundreds of thousands died in religious purges (and science lost very few people and should have been regarded as sacred cows one might guess that some believe).

Bruno was himself a Dominican friar as well as a scientist. That fact alone makes the issue seem like a sectarian striving for power and direction within the church more so than an alienated and remote Bruno working in a scientific ivory tower at some remove on a shining city on a hill persecuted by pitchfork wielding peasant that believed the world is flat.

It is quite disingenuous for scientists to offer the point that they are a peaceful, non-political form of humanity working solely for the advancement of humanity. Much science from the anatomical books of Joseph Mengele to the atomic bombs of a generation of theoretical physicists and all of today's high tech weapons were created for financial and political reasons by scientists.

Scientists have persecuted their own commonly as dissidents in environmental science to geology and in physics have advanced new ideas. Unique ideas created by brilliant individuals were sufficient reason for loss of tenure tracks and employment security. Scientists tend to be intolerant in their bureaucratic and ossified stage of establishment.

Religion in Europe was co-opted by politics and economic pragmatism long ago. By the time of Constantine's vision bringing conversion and the rise centuries of later of Pope Gregory to bring the church militant into being the politicization of religion became a fact. Christianity was still virtuous and had no doctrine in support of torture, execution, enslaving others or death when found in the hearts of believers and reading in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, yet the practical worldliness of human social organizations had move the Catholic Church into a political power position and tool role player amidst the great political dynasties of Europe. The Catholic Church was also directly challenged by a very politicized Moslem religion that directly attack Europe on three axes; the Dardanelles, Iberia and Sicily-Rome.

For modern supporters of science to attack Christianity for the persecution of a few scientists amidst the hundreds of thousands of political deaths in the era is a little wimpish, and it is incorrigibly misleading to suggest that Christian doctrine in the Bible can be in some be the rationale for the political extremes of European history that were a phenomena of human social character.

Faster Than Light Neutrinos Surfing Over Waves in Space-Time Foam?

The experimental evidence for possible faster than light neutrinos arriving in Italy from CERN in Switzerland raises some logical points.

1) If neutrinos travel faster than light how could they be seen at all by sub-light speed beings or be measured by their tests?

2) Is the speed of light measured correctly? There are some variable speed of light theorists out there.

3) Could the actual speed of light be less than absolutely precise? Could it have values rather like pi at the high end that are difficult to measure and give accurate values to that accumulate for neutrinos over enough distance to make them seem faster than ordinary particles or photons measured?

4) If photons exist as fundamental particles in an electromagnetic field, would neutrinos that do not behave the same way?

5) Would photons and neutrinos have the same spin characteristics, and could quantum qualities of each wave-particle slightly alter it travel characteristics through different mediums?

6) If space-time is discrete instead of continuous, and if all matter-energy exists as a discrete field with minute spacing in various scaffolds or structures could neutrinos skip across those possible small dimensions and shortcut to faster arrival times than other particles that exist with different space-time quantum foam dimensional field relationships.

7) Even if neutrinos arrive faster than the speed of light it might not require that they would actually have a faster intrinsic speed than photons.

Antidote: Faster Than Light Neutrino Measurement Error Found

The possible inaccurate use of g.p.s. signals that gave the arrival time of neutrinos traveling about 450 miles in 60 nanoseconds a faster than light value makes on wonder if it would be even possible to measure faster than light signals in a space-time field theoretically?

If matter and energy only appear in light-speed or less contexts, and if anything else that does exist is in some kind of undetermined, non-material state in a quantum realm of non-determination existing prior to the apparent solid state Universe, it may be generically impossible for anything that travels faster than light to appear in the solid state universe.

In quantum entanglement experiments that remind me a little of the CERN-Gran Sasso neutrino experiments information is apparently exchanged between entangled quantum particles at faster than light speed. There may be no theoretical way to measure how much faster the information is exchanged because the speed issue may be irrelevant.

The non-determined quantum world experienced by wave-particles in all possible theoretical locations when unobserved may not have space-time field characteristics like those of the solid-state universe with its light-speed limit.

Well, it’s an interesting point to think about.

I would guess that quantum entanglement is something of a partial wave function collapse, yet not completely. Some of the superposition of eigenstates of quanta may be reduced or positioned in some way between entangled particles so that one particle's state is determined through the collapse of the wave function through an observation the entangled particle shares that trait too seemingly instantaneously at-a-distance.

Obviously I have no idea about the mathematics of these physical theories-just an interest in them for philosophical conversational purposes.

First American Patent, Ketchup and Dead French Prisoners Preserved in Salt

I had the good luck to read ‘Salt: A World History’ recently and shook out plenty of historical facts of sustainable interest. There were actually far too many, interesting points in Mark Kurlansky's 2002 Penguin Publishing book to summarize here with any semblance of a taste of the diverse and historically important subject.

One learns a diverse array of interesting American facts of course such as the strategic importance during the American civil war of destroying confederate salt production without which preserving food was difficult in the era before refrigeration. The Erie canal was built preponderantly for the purpose of making delivery of Onadega salt available cheaply to New York City.

In 17th century France prisoners that died before trial were sometimes preserved in salt and brought to trial and public display that they might not escape justice. Prisoners sentenced to death following execution were on occasion likewise salted and presented for public ridicule. Salt has amazing preservative properties. Many salt mine workers and their costumes have been discovered remarkably well preserved from times as early as the 5th century B.C.

The first patent granted in America was given for a fellow named John Winslow about 1622 in Massachusetts for salt production techniques. Politics was not the bane of independent intellectual creativity of course, but instead on occasion supported the development of enterprise to produce salt even during the revolutionary war with cash incentives-the X prize bounties of the day.

Of most contemporary interest-more so than the 1200 feet below the surface of Detroit network of more than 50 miles of road built in a Morton Salt mine-was the curious history of perhaps the first or second American chronicler of tomato ketchup manufacture in the U.S.A. Weightlessness Found to Affect Genes (of flies)

Building colonies on moons and planets with substantial fractions of Earth-normal gravity would be desirable criteria for space missions ahead. Genes of humans may be adversely affected by zero gravity extrapolating from the research upon flies. It does not follow that prolonged weightlessness will transform astronauts into human flies.

One day it may be possible to build gravitational monopoles to generate gravitons and artificial g environments aboard space ships in weightless space environments as well as to exploit gravitational and anti-gravitationally charged 'dark energy' for space ship propulsion in a gravitational field. As it is building a moon colony and creating artificial micro-Earth sustainable ecosystems with what gravity compensators as are possible to produce to counter ill-effects of weightlessness should go ahead even as electro-magnetic mass drivers for heavy lift from Earth are constructed to speed along construction of a Mars base with its closer-to-Earth gravity field.

Romney Drubs Gingrich, Wins By About 15% in Florida

Mitt Romney beat back Newt Gingrich's billionaire financed challenge in the Republican primary today by about 15%. Gingrich with the support of a patron billionaire expects to have the financing to stay in the race indefinitely.

A casino billionaire-Sheldon Adelson- placed a ten million dollar bet on Gingrich in the form of a campaign contribution enabling Mr. Gingrich to surge in South Carolina with copious advertising. Even with the substantial budget Newt wasn't able to overcome and finish close.

On the Non-Deterministic Realm Primary to the Quantum Realm

The topical features of mass and energy perceived by physicists were long said to behave as waves and particle. The Chinese puzzle box of smaller particles and wave events were revealed in particle accelerators with additional energy input in the form of particles to decohere and seem as quarks or whatever-leptons, muons etc. Higher energy levels were required to reveal particle-wave forms bound up with the most strength or energy.

Decoherence-suppression of interference in quantum observations-can be included in 'the quantum realm' of which definition and location I will now identity with this universe's mass and energy at the quantum level. That is these are comparatively deterministic contextually whereas the alternative primary non-deterministic realm before quantum determination and solid states is not.

The experiment I cited actually observed quantum features in solid-state matter for the first time. The other theory I cited by a fellow working in Singapore was a blog post at Scientific American that postulated that the solid state mass in this universe at the smallest level would be comparable to a number to an uncertain power of entanglements by those particle-waves of uncertain character in a non-determined condition from what I refer to as the quantum realm for-itself. Because of some initial anisotropy there may be a cascade of quantum determination this universe state that in some way becomes entangled probabilities to allow energy to appear like standing waves epiphenomenalized as mass.

Staying in a tent in Alaska recently I experienced a heavy snowfall that let snow piled up on tall trees transition suddenly to fall with a thud making a loud noise with the capability of flattening the tent. Not only wind could make a line of trees drop loads of snow, but so it seems, could a radio. That suggested to me that the Word spoken in the beginning from a quantum realm could have started a cascade of change in selecting the entanglement of quantum probabilities that would appear later as mass, light and the expansion of space-time in this Universe (1). That is a little off topic though.

In this universe there may be no real particles or waves-only energy that at the smallest level is obviously mysterious. Quarks and all those elementary particles are energy bound into patterns of behavior in quantum levels. Only so much energy may fit in valence shells forming atomic patterns.

The factors that may quarks and elementary energy units have select quantum values and differentiate at the basic universe entry level is unknown. There are myriad possibilities to consider.Some that I have thought about a little. Instead of the quantum realm I will call the energy patterns of this quantum universe inclusive of its appearance of uncertainty the determined universe and the other realm where energy does not appear in a particular quantum existence as the non-determined realm.

The idea of a non-determined realm of energy is paradoxical in numerous respects. That context would have not only a symmetric character without differentiation or spacing, it might have a neither finite nor infinite quantitative endowment of energy or space-time. That isn’t a very helpful concept even for myself. The probabilities of equal values regarding the relationships of energy within its perfected field would be 100% until change and cancellation of balance generated a field of entangled anisotropic probabilities that might appear as something like a Higgs Field and the inflation. Interestingly enough the virtual particles that appear and disappear from space-time would not necessarily be artifacts from a subtler level of spatial dimensions of an inflationary era. They might be new energy intrusions from that non-determined realm.

I would guess that a good reason for the existence of extra spatial dimensions would be that those smaller dimensions might provide the quantum energy levels possible for space-time in this Universe. Too much energy in various atomic shells for particle-waves could not remain in those dimensions. The idea that radiation could be a process of trans-dimensional energy redistribution may be silly yet it’s a little interesting.

That idea too is off topic in comparison to the discovery of the characteristics of a non-determinative realm of energy primary to the solid-state mass-energy of this Universe(1).

About the Theory of an Intelligent Super-Organism

Pierre Telhard De Chardin wrote of a layered life approach and of a noosphere. The cosmogenesis approach is interesting. Telhard was a World War One French Army officer who got so drunk on Armistice Day that he couldn't get the key into the lock on his door. He was also a priest and theologian. It is impressive that he could view stomachs hanging in trees and later write such interesting and optimistic philosophy.

James Lovelock and the Gaia hypothesis argued that the world ecosphere behaves like an intelligent organism. The complex feedback mechanisms of which there are a zillion act together. One can consider Elton's research on the way bare post-glacial era northern island became populated with vegetation and other, larger life as guano from seabirds and seabirds themselves as food and in other capacities helped to reinforce an increase population of life forms. If bees were taken out of the life equation on Earth that would present quite a few problems.

Regarding the web of life as an integral whole is a fundamental parameter of contemporary ecospheric research I would guess. Several books have been published on ecosystems integrity from the requirement that large predators exist to the harm done to the American southwest by the removal of mammoths of the elephant family whose footprints allowed seed to grow.

Human beings are too a part of the ecosphere as are their intellect such as exists outside the beltway. Some of the intellects are daft regarding the ecosphere and do their best to exterminate much of it en mass instead of conserving it while they advance science and technology to the purpose of knowledge and human well being. The ecosphere isn't just an aesthetic luxury.

Inevitably the political trail returns to the oval of NASCAR and high-octane automobile pollution-that may not change soon.

Lovelock wrote in 'The Final Warning' that the human population may drop to about 200 million in the future as a result of global warming and other issues. At that point the global temperature may stabilize. Lovelock conjectures that if humanity continues its usual greenhouse gassing at that point Gaia will simply remove the remnant of humanity.

Life may act on Earth as a giant organism. G.W.F. Hegel believed that life on Earth is a process of God realizing awareness of Himself in history that fits rather well with the Gaia criteria.

There are additional ways to consider an ecosphere in larger, intelligent organisms in discrete or monistic guise. Ant colonies sometimes seem to act as intelligent collectives-one must consider the Borg obviously as a future mode of ultra-right-wing or left wing consumerism.

Of even more concern to some is the potential that some of those giant fungi discovered now and then to be the largest organisms in the world have as much intelligence as federal budget planners. Then there are whales and ravens-seemingly happy creatures of moderate intelligence in tune with the temporal times even as they decline.

The entire quantum universe could be a super-intelligence, quantum computer or God running this Universe as a sub-routine.

Zero-Point Energy Observed in a Solid Object; So What are the Metaphysics of the Quantum Realm?

Scientists have for the first time observed zero-point energy in a solid object. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle means that solid mass observed at the quantum level will vague out into position or speed yet not both characteristics observed simultaneously. In fact the quantum world is quite unknown as a for-itself or in-itself.

What are the boundaries and characteristics of the quantum universe? Some theorists hypothesize that the solid-state appearance of mass in this universe is a result of concatenated probability entanglements of that waveform phenomenality prior to the space-time ordinal nature of the mass of this Universe (1).

It is that quantum realm where mass does not exist, and where quantum waves that are described from here as energy exist as possibilities of being in every place and perhaps time and speed. If quantum energy has the same time-at light speed or faster before becoming entangled different energy values might occur when they were entangled to appear as mass-yet the most basic particles might have the same quantum values perhaps as strings or membranes.

It is a metaphysical curiosity to me about what that quantum realm before or outside this Universe in which this Universe has phenomenalized is comprised, and of what its spatial and temporal character could be.

On 'What is Spirit?'

One might want to define truth in other than a context of Platonic realism. A disquotation theory or some other might be helpful.

Given a particular verbal lexicon of meanings, if one does not assent to the meanings a priori it is unlikely that one would understand the concepts or meanings. Pontius Pilate asked rhetorically of Jesus Christ 'what is truth?'

If I read a contemporary cosmology theory or language and substituted my own values for the terms or expressions I would not understand what the theoretical physicist intended. Notably some expect understanding of 'truth' to be brought to them to overcome their skepticism. Perhaps one must be drawn by the Spirit unto a relationship with God or actively work to learn philosophical ideas instead of receiving insight as a bonus for signing up with 4g wireless service two years.

It is also helpful to define 'spirit'. One might say that it is simply the life experience of a human being regarded as a data set by God. In theory a morally conscious human being aware of the truth-values of Jesus Christ might behave differently socially than one that regards 'spirit' as meaningless and human experience as entirely phenomenal. Those that are spiritually dead in the sense of being unsaved or unenlightened regarding the spiritual life can miss the boat and slip into the river Styx like a slithering creature in devolution down the slippery slope to oblivion and even judgment.

Well, if spirit is simply human experience perceived or unperceived as spirit that state of affairs might describe (so far as humanly possible) the Spirit of God (I would think) to be Divine experience-the uncreated Being in omniscience without cause.

'Beyond Freedom and Dignity'-The Ecosphere and Human Political Inertia

I remember reading Skinner's 'Beyond Freedom and Dignity'. One gets the feeling that the global economy is being driven by the elites in the direction of a 'New World Order' or 'Brave New World'. I would guess that elite millionaire-scientists might enjoy regarding the populous as amoebic clumps chasing purely organic ends. It would explain the arrogant incompetence of Wall Street and Government a little, and the failure to liberate the human spirit by pursuit of a more optimal on and off whirld ecospherically acceptable full employment economy.

Maybe such political outlooks are for those without patience for philosophical investigations.

Socrates said that the unexamined life is not worth living. He might have been summarizing the point of view of hard-core behaviorists.

On Philosophy

Philosophy is a method or process of reasoning rather than an ossified practice. Philosophical syncretism is a way of building that model of the man-in-the- Universe Johnny Cash sort of one-piece-at-a-time opinion about reality before one physically dies that differs from religious syncretism. The latter present ossified doctrine and the former is a map in progress.

It is possible to extract ideas from the sky religion that gave rise to Hinduism and Buddhism too indirectly and regard those elements within a cosmological context such as the recurrent Universe of Nietzsche, the spinning bucket in the void thought experiments of Newton, The World as Will and Idea of Schopenhauer, 'The Three Dialogues’ of Bishop Berkeley and his ideas about idealism contrasted with the illusory nature of reality of Buddhism and of course the noumenal-phenomenal dichotomy of Immanuel Kant and so forth.

One might enjoy reading of the historical growth of philosophical and religious thought concurrently in the past and perhaps today too. The rise of symbolic logic in the 19th century, and of Leibnitz' mathematical logic centuries before followed the ongoing progress in scientific knowledge and mathematics and was energized by the emerging paradigms. I would think that Darwin was stimulated not only by his Christian upbringing and the notion of sequential accretion of life forms in Genesis but from the entire continental expansion of knowledge as well. There were others regarding evolutionary change before Darwin.

The comparison of Descartes' cogito and 'Discourse Upon a Method' with Sartre's later 'Being and Nothingness' reveals the same sort of ratiocinating individual encountering an objective experience of a different real physical world-universe that is an implicit aspect of duality in other religious and philosophical methods.

One regards Zoroastrianism and its emphasis upon a duality of Good and Evil and reflects how that faith was historically eradicated by elimination of the believers. 'Beyond Good and Evil' was Nietzsche's tome, yet the only way one might rightly compare the transcendence of good and evil is through monism with pluralism as an apparent, or even illusory fact of the expression of being and life.

Thus one finds the malleability of words and reference objects of late 20th century analytical philosophy Strawson, Quine, Kripke etc within the ontology of uncertainty paralleled in the uncertainty of quantum mechanics. A quantum universe itself uncertain is a sort of larger expression of the subjective uncertainty and temporality of the world-for-itself.

One may find quite a lot of philosophy to favor, and then regard The One and The Son of God as the best inference worth faith.
