About this ebook

This book is an exposé on how America is responding to tumultuous activities since her founding. It has become obvious to most Americans that their nation has hit the crossroads of a paradigm of events.

The author, on the other hand, as a member of this society began to study intensely what was going on and what effects people were going through when the standing president Barack Obama would say one thing and then do exactly the opposite through executive fiat.

The stealing of documents by former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, her use of her own personal server for the dispersal of departmental and top secret emails is astounding. Advanced knowledge of a terrorist attack is one thing; however, it remains a quagmire when both the secretary of state as well as the president concoct lies to trick and fool the American people.

The crucial notion of the system of checks and balances on each branch of government is lost without US Constitutional oversight. Therefore, when one finds that the Internal Revenue Service or a former director of the FBI is found operating for another person’s charitable foundation who just so happens to be running for the Office of the President is disastrous.

America is not unlike any other nation on earth; however, when people are given the power to live above the law in a “rule of law” established and guaranteed in a nation, that is when someone needs to write a book about the discovery.

    OVERVIEW

T his book is an exposé on how America is responding to tumultuous activities since her founding. This narrative has been no easy task. Although we would be honored to lightheartedly think that we were able to catch the activities that have had a profound effect on the values, morals, and ethical standards of the nation; albeit, to perceive how a country and the society of people that live in it respond to various events could be stupefying.

History is as history says. However, we have been blessed with the notion of making our focal point of this material, how has America responded? When one considers just the last half-century of the most improbable and unbelievable events that have occurred it truly is astonishing to have been a part.

    • J. Edgar Hoover and the antics of the FBI

    • The Cold War

    • Civil Rights Movement and the Voting Rights Act

    • The John F. Kennedy assassination and Robert F. Kennedy assassination

    • The cold-hearted murder of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

    • War in Vietnam

    • Riots throughout the nation fueled by a non-sincere media

    • The stealing of documents by a former Secretary of State

    • Collisional activities, stealing of Top Secret documents by the director of the FBI

    • Russian activity and subsequent take-over of Ukrainian interests

    • Russian involvement in a general election in the United States

This extraordinary book examines Presidential administrations with emphasis on both foreign and domestic policy considerations. Furthermore, we have taken the social sciences to enhance or better present our findings to you.

We have taken the older recipe or formula if you will, of the coffee table-style book that features cooked and baked dishes from around the world and with mind-blowing style assessed the true American feelings regarding how through various events and it was thought best to reconsider and restructure our nation primarily making changes to the US Constitution as well as to the original governing structure.

Naturally we believe that including other changes such as the complete lack of an immigration policy and what could be viewed as an Invasion from outside of the country’s borders, through to an almost complete change in the language spoken compliments of political correctness and the influx of other-language speaking individuals, we believe that when a nation begins to allow non-citizenship voting to occur in national elections to include all documents necessary to be printed into the native language of those permitted then, there must be some changes made.

We have investigated the astonishing disregard of what used to sanctify us and made our nation the most sought-after nation in the world to travel or move too.

Clearly, from our list highlighted above there are far too many monumental activities that have occurred; therefore, we have decided to address the most remarkable events that have evolved and unfortunately America lives with daily.

Much of the writing further discloses how America’s media has made its choice predicated upon reporting when covering conservative and liberal feelings about the news. We literally started by investigating the one hundred eighty years of living in the British colonies and how the great grandsons of these people went on to try and create some form of governance that was heavily bound against human nature. America started out with what is known as Classical Republicanism because in this form of governing it calls upon the people to be as vigilant as possible when policing the politicians involved.

However, the Founders of this nation were far more into the notion of people ruling their own destiny’s and furthermore set-up what is referred to as Representative Democracy and the separation of powers act which to this day has created more problems that what the early Founders believed. In addition to these mentioned problems we felt that we should have a social sciences perspective namely, how a typical American felt about deciding on the first African American elected to the office of President.

As we investigated the subject of Cognitive Dissonance or how a person behaves when being thwarted between two personally held beliefs that somehow came into opposing personal characteristics. Furthermore, how does an individual who by their own admission lives in their beliefs of a Judeo-Christian believer find themselves when a new president signs in to law an executive order creating same-sex marriages?

Collectively, when a nation of individuals begins to live under a government who by its very size can take into consideration paying for food stamps, lunch programs for children, and full entitlements including housing, welfare, transportation accommodations, and employment for people who are in the nation illegally, we looked into the social sciences for answers to these idiosyncrasies.

Therefore, the findings of the problems that America faces daily and how those tribulations are dealt with is what one can look forward to by reading this book.

    Reshaping and Restructuring America

    ******

Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people, who have a right, from the frame of their nature, to knowledge, as their great Creator, who does nothing in vain, has given them understandings, and a desire to know; but besides this, they have a right, an indisputable, unalienable, indefeasible, divine right to that most dreaded and envied kind of knowledge; I mean, of the characters and conduct of their rulers.

—John Adams, A Dissertation on the

    Canon and Feudal Law, 1765

I n our ever-changing world, the necessity for the correct ideas to solve the most persistent problems that face America has taken on an unyielding urgency. It may be the challenging, unrelenting, and dangerous world in which we live that makes the problems seem so much bigger and so much more advanced. This is because the problems that face America are indeed vaster, superior, and a cut above the problems facing us just a half century ago.

Before these problems get too gigantic and overwhelming, let’s slow down just a bit and see if we can suggest ways to solve the most prominent of the world’s problems. As a sidebar, I believe that facing this process is in fact easier than America trying to sort out and face its own problems. That is the concern of An Open Autopsy on America—the trepidation of identifying America’s most difficult problems and how with disquiet to suggest alternative ways of solving them.

However, at first, it is the world that we must deal with. Hoping to be as specific as possible, it appears that in the short term, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) or North Korea holds the title of being the most dangerous. Adding to their disgusting methods of testing, their uncouth ability to recklessly disregard the paths of their missiles traveling and at what nation’s airspace they are avoiding shows the ineptitude of the leadership of the North Korean regime.

It is very interesting to read what I just wrote and to come to terms with it. In two small paragraphs, I have opened the door to world annihilation from two various parts of the world that were not any sort of problem to Western Civilization my entire life until now. Just to let you know, the amount of disaster now resides in places such as Pakistan, India, and Saudi Arabia; furthermore, at the rate that America and Russia are selling ordinance to just about everyone who will buy, what does that suggest?

Let’s look at this obstruction syndrome from a unique perspective, shall we? Let’s have a quick look at the continent of Africa.

Although there are astounding African Wildlife conservatories doing whatever they can to keep what is living alive and well, now we must turn our attention to what humankind has done to the land, wildlife, and people. We have been experiencing the death of these natural animals for generations now, albeit not from natural predators but rather the ivory markets and poachers. Simply put, these spectacular animals are being killed for their claws, teeth, fins, brains, tusks, and other body parts.

Now when one looks at the African continent on a map, discussion appears to be focused on apartheid in South Africa or Nelson Mandela, albeit there is much talk going on about the sex trade for business, the obstruction of various political and/or religious parties, and the hundreds upon thousands of school-age children they are taking as prisoners to get what some leader wants.

The number of small arms to medium-sized artillery including mortars and rocket-propelled explosive devices is more than astounding.

Realizing the amount of money made from the sale of these weapons is one issue; however, being in the right mind to see how mass genocide is being conducted upon entire communities is sickening. In the past three years, there has been a film made that has reached Oscar consideration for best picture of the year.

We have reached the time where even the safest and unpredictable places on earth are armed to the teeth for decimating the population of the world.

Consider, if you will, the destruction done to the earth and kept quiet for almost a decade. The unfortunate events in Japan with their nuclear power facilities have contaminated the globe’s water supply and those unfortunate fish and wildlife that live wherever the current takes these pollutants. One would be hard-pressed to measure the same type of accident, albeit with a different contaminant such as oil. Iran, Iraq, the United States in many different areas, the United Kingdom, Russia, and even Micronesia are beyond guilty in that category.

Yet, the one issue that should concern all of us on the earth is not climate change but rather the amount of trash and/or rubbish that gets funneled into the oceans daily. If there is anything that could cause climate changes that has not even been mentioned, it is the amount of garbage that litters the planet.

Every nation and every person are guilty of it, some more than others, mind you.

In some form or another, the catastrophic events that seem to follow humankind and that are a direct cause from humankind could be a standalone topic for any publication. Having mentioned a few here, we believe it is time to move on to identifying the most significant problems in the USA and that if nothing is done to completely rectify these complications, then the consequence will be the destruction of the American way of living.

Repairing and restoring the American civilization, we believe, is the number one issue. What ostensibly has been leaving us here in the US are the ways, rules, and habits of the American way. Even more reprehensible is that much of this is happening through us and to what degree we will tolerate. Americans are the most giving and generous people that are living on earth today. And I am sure there are a lot of people reading this book that would mortally disagree. That is perfectly all right!

However, when the supporting documentation hits the table, there is no doubt as to which country is sending in the most funding for any number of expenses primarily to assist in industry, science, and computer technology. Yet to go on toward medicine and medical care or when humankind viruses threaten to abscond an entire culture of people, I believe it is safe to say that with the amount of volunteers, floating hospitals, and medical care ships, airliners, and even space transportation, we try at the very least to be in the thick of it. This affection is inherent in American values, morals, ethics, and way of life.

However, the central challenge to our generation—including our government—is to reestablish and renew this American quality. Interestingly, by definition, any civilization goes only a generation deep. Consequently, if the next generation or even the one before that fails to learn what makes America unique and tick, then our country could change decisively overnight.¹

Therefore, from the perspective of this author, we, and that includes all of us, are not passing on to our new generation of Americans what it means to be an American and, worse, those recommencing items that continue to make us the best nation to live in. Teaching the next generation how and what American civilization is about—that is our privilege.

I would enjoy listing a few examples of the impact that this feature imbues with it. As we look at the past, say the 1940s through the 1950s, we see the entire World War II in progress, or at least we should have learned or been taught. All one needs to do is go to the History.com website to see actual footage of the war with Nazi Germany and Italy and the battles in North Africa up until Imperial Japan entered the war and virtually was going to win or perish as a combatant.

All we need to do is look with our own eyes at the generational teaching of those who lived and survived and with the assistance of the precepts of the American rule of law, free speech, and democracy to see how quickly these once fascist-governed nations became world leaders in their wondrous nations.

Even more examples can be seen in truly Communist-ruled countries that have since broken away from their model nations and have succeeded such as East Germany. We should never forget about that wall that divided that country. Furthermore, there are also the countries of the former Soviet Union such as Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. And even until today, there are statues and monuments dedicated to Stalin and even before him Lenin who both committed atrocities most feel are worse than some Confederate soldier ever dreamed of committing. Yet those statues still stand as not only a reminder of what happened but also a means of solidifying that it will never happen again.

America from its founding has been an idea; moreover, inasmuch as it has never been done before, America is also an experiment. It is important to note that one needs to only embrace a set of values, morals, and living habits that have succeeded and thrived on this continent for well over four hundred years. I realize that this is easy to say, so I will, virtually anyone can become an American very simply by learning the ideas and habits of being an American, then going through the procedure of becoming one.

Currently our educational system is not anywhere where it once was or could be. It is important to understand that up until the 1960s and 1970s, both American-born children and immigrants to this nation were taught to be American. I do not believe that it is arguable whatsoever that the ceremonies of the Pledge of Allegiance or the singing of The Star-Spangled Banner at the opening of unique events or at times and places where there is a diversified set of human beings are waiting are in any way in bad form or showing disrespect to America any more than discussing the Pilgrims during our Thanksgiving Day meals. Legends and tradition are specific matters and are open for discussion. There may have been other extraordinary matters that happened during any one of those days; however, why is it important to some to completely change or mystify the original reason we began doing so in the first place?

Another critical amending of American civilization came at the complete dissolution of celebrating President George Washington and President Abraham Lincoln’s birthdays on their original occasions to making a shortened version by celebrating the two events on one day and calling it President’s Day. It does appear as being insensitive to me that somebody in Congress thought they were accomplishing anything. The problem remains, friends, that these two separate days called attention to those specific men pursuant to the contributions and sacrifices each of them made to the American civilization. The same could be said about the Native American influence in the American civilization. There are some of us who spend lesser time discussing the Pilgrims and give far more credit to the Native Americans for their assistance to the colonists on what to eat, how to catch, how to cook it, and how to give it all when consuming the meal.

Lately I have been reminded that the myth of Washington cutting down the cherry tree and not being able to tell a lie had a much larger truth. Portrayed as the Father of Our Country, Washington was the indispensable man, the individual on whose character and moral strength the nation was founded.²

It was during the mid-1960s that this long-held consensus began to wallow and break down. The countercultures began to repudiate middle-class values even though the creators of that counterculture were clearly middle-class themselves. Multiculturalism switched the emphasis from proclaiming the virtues (real or imagined, true or not) of an ethnicity, sect, or tribe. Situational ethics and deconstructionism—basically the belief that there are no general rules of behavior—began to supplant the centuries-old struggle to establish universal standards of right and wrong.

All this has led to a collapse in our ability to teach ethical behavior to our own people. Many people reading this manuscript will openly remember the hippy days of getting high while flashing the peace sign to anyone as they passed. I wonder if during that time the folks flashing the peace sign knew what they were signing, or was it done because it looked like a cool thing to do?

Traditional history has been replaced by the notion that every group is entitled to its own version of the past. I would not want to be likened to a sourpuss or damper of bad reality, but moral standards have indeed been replaced by role-playing. Now there is always the notion that any occurrence can have its own version of the events; however, establishing what the right way was involves the time spent imprinting the accumulated wisdom of our culture in now creating and reinforcing a bogus and perfunctory episode of self-esteem rather than getting at the truth. And if I may, there are millions of people today who try and put a spin on every single issue that comes along rather than trying at all costs to correct the outcome of any given situation. It is at this point when another contentious point in the demolition where America is at.

Having been in primary education and secondary education as well as assuming professorial duties at the collegiate level as well as the graduate levels of higher learning, I can truthfully state that there is a genuine crisis in the educational system and public life over several situations that must be addressed either in these introductory statements or certainly within the book.

However, there is an egregious situation that is occurring that needs to be
