    To twist the senses

    With the mind

    To paint a picture

    So divine

    It might be

    Hard to see

    The first time

    Because the third eye

    Is seemingly blind

    But by the words

    From a mind such as mine

    Open that eye

    With sight beyond sight

    Whether it be something freaky, caring,

    Or giving a little insight

    Numerous styles

    Have to remain versatile

    With enough humor

    To make you crack a little smile

    I just want the world

    To see what I see

    So that perhaps I am understood fully

    Even though my drummer

    Taps his sticks a little differently

    And maybe, at times

    I come off a little eccentric

    That doesn’t make me less of a man

    It makes me exactly who I am

    And that is poetically inclined

    They call it poetic pimping

    Because I make these words do my bidding

    I weave words into heavenly visions

    Sharpen my skills so that they cut with precision

    These words I use to hypnotize minds

    These words I use to cause chills of the spine

    These words I use to give sight to the blind

    Not so much to the eyes but more to the mind

    Can you find it within you to appreciate
