About this ebook
Seth Giolle
Of Those We Love
Do Turtles Dream?
At night when the lights have all gone out
Or in the day when my turtle has hid away
In the corner of the dark green water I ask
Do turtles dream? Do their minds stray?
What world would he seek?
And what adventures would he know?
So much he could do
So many places; I think so
Does he swim in the wild?
Does the water feel free?
Do the birds fly by?
Does he wrestle with a bee?
Or ... sometimes I think
Would he dream of having paws?
To roam around the countryside
Would that break all the natural laws?
I watch him swimming in his home
I see him look about
There’s an answer there
