    Part I Insurrection

    It's hard to sleep

    With a blue brain

And a heart that doesn't know

    What shape to maintain

    And lungs that choke

    On vibrating air

    And the cold cold feeling

    Of soaking wet hair,

    So my eyes will burn

    From the dark's sharp sting

    And my ears fabricate

    A fictitious clock's ticking

    As I pass this time

    In Nyx's purgatory

    Until the sunlight

    Can set me free,

But freedom never felt so morbid

    A dawn for the dead

    With a blue brain

Still weighing heavy in my head.

    She was alone

And she'd cry in the shower

    The rain pouring down

    On a frail wilted flower

    Water drops poured

    Down her unsmiling face

    She couldn't feel the tears

But she could catch their taste

    Those evil tears

    Bitter and sour

    A lingering poison

That she wished had more power

    She flooded her body

    Like her tears
