Preamble

Caleb and Noah Riordan are two little kids living in North Carolina. And like all little kids, they like to play ‘pretend’.

But what’s unusual is the way the boys play. Together Caleb and Noah create vivid, living worlds for their adventures. 

So, whether it is traveling through time investigating ancient Egypt, saving the world from evil masterminds as super heroes and secret agents or pretending to be inside the computer when they play video games, the boys go all out in their own special and imaginative way.

Chapter 01

It was the end of a long and stormy day.

The kind of day where you just wanted to sit in front of the fireplace with a good, hot cup of cocoa.

The Riordan boys sat at desks in their second story office in a downtown Holly Hills building.

They were drinking shots of hot cocoa – cold.

Yeah, it had been that kind of day.

We haven’t had a good case in weeks, Noah, Private Investigator Caleb Riordan complained to his
