Dedication
This book is dedicated to the individuals who have allowed me to have the experiences that have shaped me into who I am today. This book is dedicated to the customers of our golf cart dealership, both past and present who have brought us their challenges and their rewards. To those of you who have placed your trust in us to properly, with honesty, diagnose and repair your golf cart correctly the first time, I say thank you.
I need to express my appreciation for those around me who are closest to me such as my family, friends and co-workers. To Kimberly Ann my bride of twenty six years, to my son Johnathan who is my first born and to my daughter Grace, who is as tall as I am now. You are the love and pride of my life’s work. For without you all in my life I would be nothing. I am proud and honored that God has blessed me with you as my family.
To my friend Charles B. Burchett, who’s always looking out for me. Many of my accomplishments have been with your wisdom and aid. Thank you Chuck for being my friend.
Special thanks to the many employees like Bob Hoffman, Marvin McClain, Mike McKown and others who contribute every day and every way in helping our dealership grow. To you all, I say thank you.
And to Mike Johnson of Ezgo who has always answered my many, many questions and patiently helped me with some of the strangest and toughest problems with stubborn, unseemly, unfixable golf carts. Thank you Mike for having my back. In addition I would like to thank my longtime friend Neil Stagner who continues to help me understand my relationship with the internet and my business. Thank you for your practicality, your wisdom and I couldn’t be more honored by anyone else writing the forward to this work!
I also need to thank some of the Vendors for being a blessing and help for me over an extended period of time. Vendors like Royal Battery, Nivel, MadJax, RedHawk as well as Stentens to name a few.
For without you there wouldn’t be any golf cart parts and accessories and therefor no golf cart dealership, especially not mine. And without that there wouldn’t be this book. I am humbled, grateful and blessed to have you all in the paradigm of my life, both personal and professional as well. Thank you.

Conclusion
Foreword
Have you ever had the opportunity to work with someone who, in very short order, mastered what took you months to learn? That is what I experienced with my friend, Michael. Michael, when he puts his mind and heart to something, wins every time. And this win
will benefit you, the reader, with practical and useful information to make your golf cart experience more enjoyable.
I was so honored when Michael asked me to write the forward to his new book. We have talked for hours about this project, and I have watched how it has come together. Now you will experience "So You Bought A Golf Cart? An Owner’s Guide For Learning About Golf Carts". I hope you enjoy reading this book, as much as I have enjoyed talking to Michael throughout the process.

Preface
This is my first book. As you read through the pages of words that have come from this virgin writer please keep this thought in mind. I am sure that these truths about golf carts could have been written far better and more fluent from others far more qualified than me. If you are the scholarly type looking for intellectual stimulating, you won’t find it here. Sorry. However, I wanted to write this book for the golf cart owner based out of the need for answers to the repetitive questions that we answer at our golf cart dealership.
These questions are from individuals who do not know what to do in matters concerning their golf cart. Questions about anything from why the battery charger doesn’t work to how they should wash the golf cart. These answer seekers ask us by means in person, phone calls and more and more, the internet. For those of you who are first time golf cart owners I wrote this book for you.
I wrote it for you and your many concerns you have about your golf cart. Some of what is written is my opinion. Opinions based
