    Dedication

I thank God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit for allowing me the honor to put what was given to me by the Spirit into this book!

This book is dedicated to my loving wife Amanda, thank you for being there with me on this journey. Things were hard but God is faithful. Thank you my love for loving me and sticking by me.

This book is also dedicated to the men and women of faith that taught me either directly or by video and cd messages.

To Dr. Chris and Pastor Amber Cody, thank you for pouring into me for several years and for the correction when it was needed.

To Dr. Michael P. Jacobs, for continuing to feed and pour into my Pastors and into my wife and I as well.

To James Davis, who took time while he was working to share the Gospel with me which resulted in me coming back to the Lord. You sir have an eternal reward in heaven waiting for you.

To Pastor Nancy Dufresne, for continuing to pour into us and continuing what Dr. Dufresne started. Thank you very much.

To Pastors Scott and Tina Whitwam, even though it’s been a very short time that my wife and I have known you, thank you for all of your prayers and support and for your labor of love.

To Dr. Ed Dufresne, You are greatly missed and I learned a lot listening to you! Thank you for your many years of ministry and the legacy that is continuing what you’ve began.

To Joyce and John Little, thank you for accepting, believing in me, and caring about me and for me. Thanks for all your help and support.

To my family, thank you for what you’ve done for me.

Some are trained up at birth to know and serve the Lord, some begin at the coming of age stage, some don’t start until later in life, and there are even some that spend their whole life not knowing the Lord until they are either on their death bed or sadly, make the decision to never know Him. For me, I was in and out, never took it seriously, made fun of the preachers I would see on TV, I was what you would call (as Dr. Michael P. Jacobs would say) a play with it Christian.

Several times earlier that year a bus driver by the name of James Davis would bring in his busload of passengers and while he waited to go back to Chicago, James would talk to my co-worker about the Lord. He was talking to my co-worker who was a friend of mine and while he was talking to this co-worker, who was mocking James, I was listening and the seed was growing. I began to develop a longing to hear what James had to say about the Lord. Since that point I would always wait and get excited when James would come to Paducah so I could hear more of what he had to say about the Lord. Soon after, James, began to switch his focus to talking to me about the Lord because he saw that I was interested in what he had to say, and James would pull me in by quoting Ephesians 4:29 and it started growing more and more.

The times James came from that point on, he talked to me about the very same preachers on TV that I previously mocked and joked about. I see this as
