00Foreword

We know that civilizations have been monotheistic for over 3500 years - - -  from the crude attempts of the pharaoh Akhenaton who tried to convert all of Egypt  to worship the sun.

But it was the prophet Abraham who perfected the belief in only one true God - - - at about that same time in history in the land of the Hebrews.  More than half the people on earth claim a monotheistic religious belief stemming from Abraham; this includes Jews, Christians and Muslims.

The Jewish people were the first to grasp the concept of an almighty power that could not be captured within a stone figure or golden idol.  The story of Moses is legendary – - - for example at the burning bush on Mount Horeb.

When Moses asked who it was that was appointing him to lead the Hebrews from their bondage in Egypt, he heard, the response I AM.  (In Hebrew, often spelled  "YAHWEH".  "Tell the Hebrews ‘I AM’ has sent Me to you."

John Piper has defined what the word  "YAHWEH" meant to the Hebrews: a being which is constant, without any beginning or end, which is the absolute standard of what is right, truth, beauty and reality; which is absolutely independent (all other existence is dependent upon YAHWEH); and all existence is nothing compared to YAHWEH who is the most worthy of interest of all that is.[1]

Communication restrictions required the Hebrew people to change the first person response, "I AM", and so emerged the Hebrew word "ADONAI" when speaking or writing of God in the third person.

Also tracing their roots from Abraham, Christians worship that same God and in many different languages, where God is usually called "the LORD".  For two thousand years all of history was measured B.C. (before Christ) and A.D., i.e., "anno Domini" (which translates from the Latin as in the year of the Lord).

Although they also draw their roots from the prophet Abraham, because 1.2 billion Muslims do not recognize Christ as "the LORD or the Son of God", and because several billion people on earth do not recognize GOD at all, the politically correct terminology for measuring time today is B.C.E. (Before the Common Era) and C.E. (i.e., in the Common Era) which today is 2018 years after the birth of Christ.  Arabic speakers and writers use the term "ALLAH" when referring to GOD.

There are almost one billion Hindus throughout the world who also believe in one true GOD - - - who is Supreme and dwells within the spirit of each of us - - - whom they have named "BRAHMAN".

I have taken great liberties with the communications GOD has revealed to us.  May the LORD forgive my immortal soul for my presumptions.

In The Beginning

I AM the Super Force that ignited all forces - - - whether you call it the strong or the weak nuclear force, the electromagnetic or the gravitational force, or even your elusive quintessence force accelerating the expansion of your universe - - - whether through your 68.3% dark/transparent energy - - - or your light - - - I AM.
