    Book dedication

This book is first dedicated to my Heavenly Father, for blessing me to be so very talented in singing, dancing, writing and teaching. I know that I have these gifts and I ask God to anoint all of them and may hearts and lives be changed and saved from reading this book.

Growing up, when I would open an Essence Magazine, I would anxiously read the Editor-in-Chief comments of Susan L. Taylor. She is a GREAT inspiration to me! Her power and encouraging words would make me excited about reading and writing. I said that one day, I want to be just like Susan L. Taylor and write for famous magazines! She has no idea who I am, but she has vastly inspired me over the years through her writings. She went on to write some books that I still enjoy reading. To this day, I keep her book, ALL ABOUT LOVE, on my desk at work, so that I can continue to get inspired. And lastly, her book, In the Spirit, had one sentence in it that stood out to me! I’ll paraphrase what it states, the one thing that you wake up thinking about, is what you were created to do. After reading that statement, I felt that I could take on the world with my talents – because that’s all I think about! So to you Susan L. Taylor, thank you for being such an inspiration to me!

Dr. Beverly Head at Atlanta Metropolitan College, you had the BEST writing and poetry class ever! You brought out my writing creativity. I remember that you had such a kind spirit while being a Professor. The poems that are in my book is because of your help and inspiration while I was in college, trying to find my way. And while attending your classes, I would look forward to the challenge of writing poems, because you made learning fun for your students. For that, thank you Dr. Beverly Head, I hope that you are still teaching and writing books!

Other favorite inspirations that I often listen to are as follows: As I sit in church, and listen to the preachers and teachers, watch various television sermons, listen over the radio to various inspirational songs and sermons, I love to hear a good sermon.

To my husband Theo Williams, thank you for believing in ALL my talents. May God continue to shine upon our marriage, as we continue to grow together in love. To my mom-n-law, mom-Ethel & daddy-n-law, thank you all for your CONTINUED support of all my talents. Also, my sisters-n-laws Sandra and Maggie, thank you both for welcoming me into your hearts. When I sent out my monthly words of inspiration you were my sisters that continued to lift me up and encourage me to continue writing and uplifting people. And to all my fans and faithful friends, Ms. Adams, Eunice, cousin Lisa, Lisa G, Lisa from College, God-sister Theresa, Michelle and Best friend Cynthia, of the emails Words of Inspirations that I send out, I thank you for your feedback that lets me know I’m doing the right thing by encouraging others.

To my dancing and loving sister, Ebony Melton, Thanks for listening to ALL of my words of inspirations. You tell me that I should be a preacher! I don’t know why you feel this way, but I know that I’m
