True Stories, True Prayers, and True Testimonies

About this ebook
This book is about true, unexpected occurrences that happen in everyday life and how you cannot take a moment for granted. Sometimes we grow up seeing only one side of a coin. But as we mature, we get a better look at the whole picture, not just our own selfish needs and wants. This book reminds us of the growth and pain that take us to maturity and opens us to others and their trials and goodness.
Esher Alexander-Winters
As a child, I always liked reading and writing, and I knew I would be an author. I went to school to be a teacher, and I practiced that a lot to when I was young. I love to play games too: jumping rope, hop scotch, Chinese rope, jacks, and playing in the mud. I still very much like to do those things today. Some of us never grow up; we are just big children in a crowded world. In my spare time, I write truthful short stories, and I enjoy every minute of it. Since I retired from teaching, I can jot down a short story whenever I get the urge. I enjoy a fun life, and I hope you like the short stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

Foreword
This book came into being because Mother Mary E. Carter was such a fine person that many loved her and appreciated her in life and respected her godly nature and how she came through challenges in her own life and could master the winning victorious living that she had with God.
She was a breath of fresh air, when you see her on Sundays she did not wear clothes like others, she was usually deck in a robe of some sort that had meaning to every detail on it. She was a gem and maybe is still one today.
This book was also inspire because of Mother Superiors internationally and nationally are just the greatest people that are never really given credit to. You think about the priest and the evangelist and ministers all the time they are in view and even when you see the church people they never emphasize the mothers of the church. They work so hard and diligently getting things ready and done in the church and yes God speaks to them too, yet no one says to them what is God saying to you today.
They pray just like the priest and they have their order of things that they do in the church yet they get no special days.
In my book I talk about going to the hospital and getting out on a pass system but never tell you who I called for prayer so today I will reveal to you that I called all the mother superiors that I knew and did not know. I know the power of prayer and God did eventually send me home after teaching bible class for 5 years and laying on of hands on the sick and afflicted in the places that I went through my ordeal.
Today I have a thorn in the flesh with this illness that comes and goes. It is nothing to be heal for 10 years and have it flare back up at the worse possible times but I cope with it and I go on living and loving life because I love life and all that Jesus did for me I just cannot give up and fall out I have got to push as hard as I can to live and love and master some things with God that I can.

Thank You
Thanking the Mother Superior, Mary E. Carter for the time that I spent with her on Saturdays studying and learning essential things that God taught her and showing his love to a young student so eager to learn as much as she could about God and his mysterious ways.
Thank you to the Carter family and to daughter Jean who loves her mom so much but still was an inspiration to others through her trials in life.
Thank God for her daughter Vicky who blaze the trail of evangelism and did a great job and try to be upright and truthful with godly people, children and friends and family.
I thank God for my mom Dean who inspires me to work on my book and get it published. She was always concern about my material and wanted to encourage me to do something with it and not let it waste away in a notebook or just end up not ever being published.
Thank God for my sister Joye who always had time to hear some of my reading and appreciate that I could write.
Thank God for my 4 sons who always mimic their mom and write material to and one day maybe they will publish too.
Thank you Kenny for being interest in your mother’s writing and supporting her when no care about writing. Today Ken is 25 years old and he always hopes and wishes the best for his mom and tries very hard to let his mom know that he cares.
Michael Winters is an elder brother like Kenneth. He writes books and started at the age of 4. He likes to read and goes to the library all the time. He is someone that is so interested in the computer and how it works. He plays a lot of computer games and that is what he majors in at school. One day I will talk to him about publishing his kiddy books.
Kareem Winters is one of the twin children that are my youngest ones. Kareem is smart and like their brother they all write these kiddy books. Some are like stories that are cartoons. At least I know that they have
