    PROLOGUE

    My name is Caryl Fenton and I am the proud mother of two beautiful children, a boy and a girl. I want the best for my children and decided to put pen to paper to compile all the life lesson that would better help or arm them to deal with peculiarities or nuances of this generation while maintaining a strong value system.

    My son is very different from my daughter and while I may generalize based on my experience with my children, I hope that you find it useful in equipping your children for their futures.

    SMART KIDS

    In today’s society everything is smart, smart phones, smart TV,etc. Always an additional attribute that wasn’t there in previous years. When I was a child my mom said sit there and don’t move. I didn’t get a cell phone or tablet to watch yet I didn’t move. I was taught to listen and obey. With my children I was continually wondering why are they different from me, when I was a child. The answer is that children have adapted to the world and technology and are now much more aware and exposed than we were. Hence I call them
