ABOUT THIS BOOK
‘Listen Carefully’ is one of a series of booklets which develop activities in a progressive way. They suggest ideas for liaison between school staff and Visiting Musicians.
The focus of these materials is developing awareness of pitch, and the ability to utilise pitch on tuned percussion, vocally and other pitched instruments. The materials support children in reading simple pitch notations with ideas which lead into staff notation.
