INTRODUCTION

Life is hard, very hard for the average believer. Life tends to get harder when we find out that all the realities captured in bible days seem to be absent from our lives today. The prevailing principles for getting ahead today are at loggerheads with those in the bible. What then does the believer do? On one hand, we see unbelievers with results and, on the other hands are believers with the mere profession.

This sad reality started a hunger in me to find out the reason why we are operating at the level we are. Why will family that love God so dearly be unable to cater for their everyday needs? I began to pray and search for answers in my bible. Hoping to find something, anything that can help bring us closer to the realities we read about in bible days. And so, I came across the concept of favour. As I began to study and pray more about it, the Holy Spirit started revealing truths that about the subject which have so blessed me and I’m sure will do the same to you as well. I saw gaps in our understanding. What does the average believer know about favour? We speak often only of unmerited favour and divine favour. There are many dimensions of favour, some of which we would look at in this book that we hadn’t the slightest clue about. Do you know that favour can both be merited and unmerited, expected and unexpected? Because of the urgent need for this dimension to be realised in our lives, this body of work seeks to introduce us immediately to the immense possibilities available to us. If we can have childlike hearts and believe the word, the impact on our lives will be tremendous. I am a living testament to this.

This truths in this book will appear unreasonable to the natural man. But these same unreasonable truths if taken to heart with meek and engaged in faith will produce results unexplainable to the natural man.

I tried to make the work as concise as possible. Ideally to be read at a go. It might take some a few more reads for some. However long it takes you, I invite you to do all you can to assimilate the truths here and immediately act in faith.

The oxford dictionary defines favour has:

1)      Approval, support, or liking for someone or something;

2)      An act of kindness beyond what is due or usual.
