About this ebook

Franco Liguori, a young, handsome, and millionaire and addicted to the erotic games of his master, has just lost the only woman he has ever loved. The last thing he wants is a stable, exclusive relationship until a shy young woman with blond hair and kitten-like eyes enters his office one warm morning in April: it is Alina Rimini, his new secretary. Everyone thinks she's too inexperienced and shy to interest a man like him, who only dates girls who know what they want in bed and out of bed. But when shy Alina looks at him with her sweet and mysterious eyes, poor Liguori will be lost. She will be his obsession: his prey. While he feigns indifference and walks away with tempting conquests, he will not stop wanting her. He will not stop until he fulfills his fantasy of becoming the master of that young woman who may not be as innocent as she appears. Will he dare to tie her little white hands to the bed and become her absolute master as he wishes? Will that inexperienced young woman put up with such rough practices? Obsession is a contemporary romance novel with moments of eroticism and passion. It is the story of two lonely souls who met one warm day in April and came together to have a new opportunity to love and be happy.

Alina Rimini was terrified; she had just been called to the boss´s office and she was shaking like a leaf.

She was sad, angry, and nervous, all at the same time, because after getting such a good job at Liguori Inc., she now had to leave because the owner's cousin: that stupid Giacomo Liguori had been harassing her mercilessly for months. At first, they were looks, jokes, oh, what beautiful blonde hair, you look like Heidi among other things.

She ignored him, as she ignored the  others who had asked her out. But Giacomo was different. He was tenacious and seemed determined to harass her. Alina was never going to pay attention to that man, even if everyone said he was handsome and rich. She didn't like him at all, he was the typical married scoundrel boss who dated his most discreet employees. And he was so arrogant that he thought she was only rejecting him because she was shy or foolish. She was the former, but not the latter, so when that man locked her in his office one day, she decided it was time to go. The ruffian had tried to pull her onto his lap so that she... Oh, she was horrified to remember that moment, Alina had looked at him stunned and then yelled for them to open the door.

Come here little one, is it true that you don't know anything about these things? He said, catching her and kissing her savagely. I've been told that you never... I could teach you; I would know how to do it and then... I´m sure you will like it and want more.

She remembered the scene as if it were yesterday: that man's dark and depraved gaze, his mouth seeking hers and his arms pulling her fiercely towards him, and that hard thing between his legs. She must have screamed and then passed out because she didn't remember anything else.

She did not say anything at home out of shame and because she knew that her lawyer sister would convince her to sue for harassment, so she decided to resign and told her boss, Akron. She was a tall woman, with the voice of a smoker and very demanding, however, they got along well, and she was very satisfied with her job as a maid.

Please think about it, don't go.

I must, Mrs. Adela, Mr. Liguori won't leave me alone.

    Her boss flushed.

You mean Franco Liguori? I can´t believe it, Franco isn't like that, he never messes with the employees, rather it is the other way around. But he doesn´t pay any attention to them and always hired serious and ugly assistants.

No, it was Giacomo, his cousin.

Alina told her what had happened through tears and her boss was upset and worried. She was loyal to Franco, and she really didn't give a damn about that little girl. She regretted what happened of course, but she thought about a trial and spoke with Liguori that same day.

That was why he had sent for her, but Alina did not know this and trembled to think that she had to appear before this man.

She did not know Franco Liguori more than from afar. He was a man in his thirties: very handsome and loud, arrogant, and she was afraid of him. The employees called him " el diávolo Liguori", because when he got angry, he was very scary. And in recent times many office workers were fired due to his bad temper, they said that he was furious about his divorce and at the slightest foolishness or disappointment he threw them out.

There were many girls who pined for the handsome boss, he had a certain magnetism they said: he was tall, with an athletic physique and very Italian in his features and character. But he only dated models, never got involved with common employees: secretaries, receptionists, business executives in general.

"Quick Alina, don't make il diavolo wait, he'll get mad," said Gisele, her only friend in the corporation.

That's what many in the company called him, and she didn't think he was so bad, she had never really exchanged a word with him, she had only observed him from a distance, somewhat spellbound, knowing that it was silly to have illusions with such an unattainable man. Only that she liked his physique, his strong legs, and those determined lips, his evil face when he challenged someone. Now she would never spy on him, or see him, but it was better that way and she knew it. She didn't want that Giacomo letch to bother her again, to try to make her sleep with him in his office, or to dream of teaching her anything. He was a daring, obnoxious rich man who had a wife, lovers, and on top of that he was dedicated to bothering the employees closest to him with his blatant harassment.

But Alina was nervous, facing il diavolo Liguori consumed her nerves and also... She looked at herself in the mirror anxiously, she hadn't done her make up or fixed herself. That day she hadn't gone to work, just to get her things.

Armed with courage, she entered Franco Liguori's office, with a slow, hesitant step, he was watching her fiercely, almost with anger. His eyes did not miss any detail of that little girl who entered his office without knocking. Who could it be?

Hey kid, you can't come into my office here, who are you? DO you work here? He demanded furiously.

She stopped and looked at him terrified, blushing, on the verge of tears.

Franco observed the young woman with a grim expression, hung up the cell phone where moments before he had been mercilessly berating his lawyers who were carrying out his divorce. He was would fight for custody of his children, damn, that inconsiderate madwoman wouldn't steal them. They were his.

I'm Alina Rimini, Mr. Liguori, you called me, asked me to come, she said, clutching her bag nervously.

    He looked at her carefully.

Well, she wasn't that young, but she must have been no more than twenty and dressed weirdly. Like someone from the seventies, long flowered dress, and hair with two braids and a straight parting in the middle. The heavy-lashed eyes were very green, and the nose slightly turned up. Yes, she looked like something out of one of those hippie movies, how unusual! Was that the girl his cousin locked in her office causing her to faint? What a son of a bitch!

She saw his evil gaze and pursed her lips as she looked down, blushing. He was much more handsome in person, his eyes a very strange and dark blue tone, from a distance they looked brown, but they weren't. The dark hair lowered and abundant, the thick well-delineated eyebrows, the straight nose. Virile, strong, and dominant, he exuded masculinity through his pores, his strong voice, his gestures. She had never met a man like that and had not been so close to feel that magnetism. She couldn't look into those eyes again without blushing like a fool again, and she didn´t want him to think she was dumb or inexperienced.

Come over Miss Alina, he said decisively. Come in please, I'm not going to bite you. Sit down.

He could tell she was embarrassed and thought there must be a mistake. That young woman must not have been more than twenty years old and she seemed shy. Had Giacomo really been infatuated with that little girl? What would he have seen in her? He must be crazy, he thought, observing that little ruched dress and the generous curves. She was pretty actually, she had something.

Miss Rimini, you signed a resignation this morning, can you tell me why? Your boss is sad to lose, she says that you are very efficient, and she is not an easy woman to please, he said then, observing her fixedly without losing detail of her gestures or her figure. She had ribbons in her hair! Not even his five-year-old daughter used them! He stifled a smile, he had to be tough and authoritative and convince that little girl not to make any complaint against his cousin.

I don't... feel comfortable Mr. Liguori, your cousin... He´s been saying things, innuendoes and one day he tried...

He must know, why was he torturing her by asking such questions?

Alina was silent as if she couldn't find the words or didn't dare to say them.

Did Giacomo hurt you? I have found out that he locked you up and... Your boss told me that she found you passed out and they had to take you to the doctor and no abuse was found.

She glared at him furious and quite embarrassed as she remembered the incident, she had had to undress to prove that there had been no consummate sexual abuse and the experience had been so horrible that she swore she would never return to the company. She remembered the words of the forensic doctor, his look almost mocking when he said, she was not raped, this girl is a virgin.

Franco did not know those details, his mind was on the possibility of a trial, a lawsuit. He didn't mind paying, what made him uneasy was the press that would announce the case in huge letters: sexual harassment at the Liguori Inc. company. His cousin's photo on the front page and him looking stupid. He had to avoid it, convince that little girl to stay.

I am deeply sorry for my cousin's behavior, Miss Rimini, I have transferred him from these offices. I believe that we could reach an agreement and avoid a labor lawsuit that will be very painful and a stain on my corporation. My cousin has a family and this... It would hurt him a lot. I condemn his behavior, he is a scoundrel, but I want you to know that he will not bother you again in any way, he stared at her, he had to charm her, convince her, frighten her if necessary. It wouldn't be that difficult, she was an impressionable little girl. And she didn't look twenty, she looked sixteen, she had a sweet, candid look that only children of tender age had. How weird! He had never seen her at his company, and she had been there for months.

Mr. Liguori, your cousin Giacomo has been calling me, he won't leave me alone ... Please tell him to stop threatening me. I will not make any statements to the police, I just want to get out of here, all this has made me go through a lot of shame, the worst shame of my life, she said firmly.

And then she looked at him with those big and sweet green eyes, she looked like a scared kitten, a girl from another time with her ruffled dress. So natural. She wore no makeup, he who saw those models so made up, liked them like this, natural. Makeup changed women a lot, it was like a mask and you couldn't see what was behind it.

It won't happen again, I promise you. But don't quit, stay. We need employees like you who are never absent and responsible. Please.

Alina was hesitating, she was determined to quit, but he wanted to convince her to stay. He wanted to have the girl close by to make sure she did not take them to trial, he had gone to the forensic doctor, and although they said that there was no abuse, they did say that the young woman was in shock and if she got a report she could present it as evidence of attempted abuse and that was a crime. To hell with that stupid idiot! He was not doing it for himself but for his company, and having his cousin sued for sexual harassment or attempted rape in the company itself would be a disaster.

I condemn what my cousin did to you, he's a wretched fool, and he won't come back here, I can assure you, but don't quit, I can find you a better paying position. You need to work, and we need you.

She thought about it for a moment.

I don't know if I can go back... Mr. Liguori, I'm looking for another job, and here everyone looks at me badly for what happened, they make fun of me, I couldn't go back.

Are they making fun of you? And why should they do that, who is bothering you in this company?

She cried but did not want to give names or say why they bothered her and suddenly she got up and left. She wanted to, but found the door locked. He had pressed a button not to be disturbed, he hated meeting with employees or partners and being interrupted. He noticed that the hippy princess was impulsive as well as slightly plump, he liked them like that, blonde and chubby, it was his ideal as a woman and yet he dated those thin models with long legs.

It's locked, Miss Rimini, he said, feeling a strange pleasure to know that he had her trapped in his office and she looked at him scared while wiping her tears.

Alina noticed that he smiled as he enchanted her with those strange blue eyes.

Please stay ... I will deny your resignation and you will be my new assistant. Better pay, an office here, and no one will bother you I can assure you, he said as he decisively tore up the paper she had signed.

Your assistant? Alina couldn't believe it, a part of her wanted to accept, but...I'm just not sure I am up to that important position," she said at last.

Franco Liguori was a demanding boss, and they said that his previous secretary got pregnant in order to resign, because he was so difficult.

Of course you can, he insisted, giving her a slight smile, you´re a smart, intelligent young woman. I have seen in the report that you also speak English and have experience in the company, know our clients and employees. Come closer, we'll sign a new contract.

He did not let her speak, nor listen to her. He called Adela to urgently prepare a new employment contract, doubling her salary, but with more hours without asking if she agreed with the new conditions.

When Alina read the clauses, she said shyly that she couldn't stay that late, that she was taking a course.

Franco looked at her with an alert, hostile expression, realizing that this shy kitten wanted to run away or not to do things his way and he would not allow it.

Well, change your course schedule. What course are you taking? Is it related to your job? He wanted to know as he handed her an expensive pen with his initials to sign.

No, I'm finishing a course in restoration and antiquities, she declared.

    Then she
