About this ebook
The sudden phone call of Adrian announcing his visit wasn’t unusual. However, something churned in Ash's guts. His late phone call stripped him from sleep. Adrian and Ash are twins but they are polar opposite. While Adrian lives a perfect life with a beautiful wife and two and a half kids, Ash is gay and struggling to get his footing.
The improvised visit of Adrian sends the life of Ash in a spiral as he learns that everything he thought was true about his brother was a lie. Who is really Adrian?
Will the events that follow their encounter break them or force them to face themselves?
This is a short sad story of two souls born to be together. But forced to face trauma and prejudice.

Prologue
Hey, Ash,
I rolled over with a groan and blinked at my screen. For a second, I didn’t recognized his voice.
Adrian?
I pressed my phone to my ear. He sounded odd.
Can I come over for a few days? I feel like it’s been a while since we did some catching up. How’s your new boyfriend doing?
That got me struggling out of my tangled covers. My bedroom was pitch black the little digital clock on my nightstand said 4 AM.
You’re coming over?
I asked out of breath. There was a beat of silence.
Is it not a good time?
I shifted the phone to my other ear and pulled on a pair of sweatpants. Summer was too hot to wear anything to bed.
What are you talking about? You’re always welcome. Don’t worry about that boyfriend. He is done,
I added with irritation.
You two broke up?
he sounded surprised.
Yeah, a week ago,
I sighed.
Then, I’ll come comfort you,
his voice suddenly turned serious. I’ve never got why Adrian was always poking in my love life. It was weird enough talking about it with him since he was not gay. I appreciate the support. But…
I’m ok, I promise.
There was a clamor on the other side of the line. I yanked the phone away from my ear with a wince. Then he voice came back.
Adrian?
"Sorry,
