About this ebook
In this small but powerful book, the author takes us on a journey of self-discovery through the ancient practice of Zen. Written in the form of a conversation between a master and student, the dialogues reveal fascinating insights into the workings of the mind and offer a fresh perspective on the world around us. Using koans, the author "triggers" our natural curiosity and encourages us to look within ourselves for the answers we seek. This book is not for the faint-hearted or those who shy away from introspection, but for the brave and the curious who are willing to delve deep into the recesses of their minds. With each turn of the page, we become more attuned to our inner selves and discover that the answers we seek have been within us all along. So if you're ready to take the leap and explore the depths of your consciousness, this book is for you!

A Word of Gratitude
DEAR Tenkei, thank you for your directness and for speaking your truth. Your intention to help others find their path is appreciated; the dedication you put into your students is certainly welcome! Tammy, thank you for your gentle teachings; the accentuation and well-premeditated pauses you incorporate into the texts bring life to the readings. Moreover, I appreciate you for guiding me on the way through the vegan kitchen; every day, I eagerly looked forward to chopping more veggies, but, of course, in a mathematical manner! To both of you, thank you for welcoming me into your lovely home, despite the presence of my strong character! I am grateful to both of you for the effort you have put into this. You have added clarity marks to my questions and helped shape the direction of my journey, towards myself.
To all residents, thank you for MU!

Thank you all for creating the space for me to grow further into
volledigheid! ;) ..or in other words;
ROBERT, thank you for investing so much of your energy into communicating with all the Sangha members of the River (and for handling all the administration too). I can only imagine the amount of work it entails! Without you, I probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to participate in this program.
Hans, thank you for your keen eye for detail and for always approaching your work with precision! I also appreciate our quick but warm encounters and the Sunday hallway greetings.
Gert, thank you for the attention and care you put into everything you do. Your loyalty shines through your entire being whenever you undertake a task. Many people could learn a great deal from you, and I'm certain I have! It's also admirable how naturally you remember details and facts, which speaks volumes about your listening skills. Oh, and by the way, thank you
