Even if your education or lack of education, your childhood, or the lack thereof, or whatever appears to prohibit your ability to be truly happy, healthy, and wealthy, you must choose to believe in the capacity within you to achieve what is possible. If you struggle believing in your ability to be healthy, happy, and wealthy, then at the very least, believe in the capacity within you to achieve health, happiness, and prosperity. Because when you know what you want to achieve, and you believe in the possibility of that achievement, the process begins. And the fastest and best way to start living your true prosperity legacy is by acknowledging and accepting the fact that you have the innate ability to prosper.

In a world of unlimited opportunity, where anything is possible, you cannot afford to be your own worst enemy. You have an amazing brain with the immeasurable capacity to think, imagine, analyze, and realize the impossible as possible.

Everything you need to be truly prosperous is already available to you. The only limit to what is possible for you to achieve is determined by what you believe. When you think in terms of achieving extraordinary things, extraordinary things become possible for you to achieve. When you do the extraordinary, you achieve the extraordinary. In 1972, when I began my career in sales, the tools of the trade consisted of a rotary dial telephone, an electric typewriter, and a plug-in calculator. I drank water from tiny collapsible paper cups (because mass production of water in plastic bottles was not a thing). That is how I made my first fortune, selling from a phone on my desk, typing contracts by hand, and calculating my profit on a calculator. Sure, life was rough, but I loved every minute of it.

And I remember thinking, it sure would be nice if someone could invent a way that I could take the phone with me wherever I go.

Then in 1973, Motorola introduced to the world something called a mobile device. It was wireless and portable, about the size and weight of a brick, and capable of providing thirty minutes of talk time. This primitive mobile phone required ten hours of recharging, stored up to thirty phone numbers, and sold for about

$3,995 plus tax. The mobile phone was born, and those in business embraced it with open arms. And the rest is history.

Before 1973, the reality of a handheld computer (a.k.a. smartphone), a life-saving artificial heart transplant, a self-driving electric car, and many other incredible inventions that we enjoy today were nothing more than an idea in someone’s head.

Fortunately, for all concerned, many brave souls that believed nothing is impossible cultivated their idea into reality. They are the ones who created the products and services we enjoy today. The great achievers are those who believe that what they can conceive, they can achieve. And you, my dear reader, may very well be the next great achiever, innovator, inventor, or political, social, or spiritual leader.

All the modern technologies, medications and many other fantastic inventions that we all enjoy today were once merely an idea, a thought in someone’s mind. What once did not exist—now exists. A product, business, or service first conceived in the mind of one person—becomes a reality for all. This prosperity principle was true yesterday, today and will continue to be true for all tomorrows. The point is—and this is critical for you to understand and apply in your own life is that whatever business idea you have in mind, you can achieve in reality. Your idea might not exist in the market place yet, but it can, and it will, if and when you make it happen. That is why I wrote this book; to help you bring your idea into reality and to experience your true prosperity legacy in the process.

What you believe is what you achieve, is not a clever maxim—it is the truth. In 2016 Donald Trump was not the only person eligible to run for president of the United States as defined by the US Constitution. There were millions of Americans qualified to run, but for whatever reason, only a few ran for the presidency. The fact is, most of you reading this book are eligible to be president. Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the US Constitution, imposes only three eligibility requirements on American citizens to serve as president: age, time of residency in the United States, and legal citizenship. Under these constitutional guidelines, I am qualified to run for the presidency. I was born in the United States of America, have lived here my entire life, and am over thirty-five years old. But I have aspirations to be president. It’s not my calling.

Incidentally, my grandparents immigrated to the United States and became nationalized citizens. When my parents were born, they became American citizens by birthright. Likewise, I was born an American citizen by birthright. I willingly and gratefully choose to be governed by, live by, obey, and uphold the laws of this great nation, as ratified under the Constitution of the United States. And I proudly identify as an American citizen.

With a population of over 320 million people living in American, many people are eligible for the presidency, but few would consider such an endeavor. And only a handful would have a one-in-a-million chance of being chosen as a party candidate.

Even if an individual is selected a party candidate, they would still have to endure the rigors of campaigning, fundraising, media scrutiny, winning the hearts and minds of voters, and earning the 270 Electoral College votes required to become president.

With all things considered, when Trump announced he was running as a 2016 Republican presidential candidate, I was confident that he did so intending to win. Why is that? Because he is a person who achieves what he believes is possible. He has achieved remarkable wealth, recognition, popularity, and influence because he has the commitment and determination to do so. And he has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to apply prosperity wisdom in the manifestation of his living legacy.

Based on past results, Trump’s future presidency provides a historic opportunity for the unemployed to become employed, for the employee to become an employer, and for the small business to grow and diversify into the next level of business success. Without a doubt, your ability to prosper during Trump’s presidency is significantly better today than it has been in decades.
