I wish I could put this book in the hands of every teenager. I can only imagine how this book would have shaped my life had I read it when I was young. Too many of us spend a lifetime trying to live down, or live up to, labels we've adopted. Although this book is geared toward teens, its message is relatable at any stage of life. It offers biblically sound and life-changing principles that we all need to hear. More than an idea, it lays out practical steps to finding friends that build us up and remind us who we are. It offers a fresh way to understand how getting caught up in comparison steals the time and energy that we can use to better understand who God created us to be and excelling in the unique purpose He's given us. Marcus Lee is the mentor that every teen needs. Reading this was like listening to a cool friend discuss deep topics through engaging storytelling. I'll be reading it over and over as a constant reminder of life-giving truths.

In Marcus’ book, he presents God’s word in a way that anyone wanting to understand the teaching of the bible can. He lays out the love of God in the #BenefitsPackage and then he closes with fasting and praying. He brings to life the relevance of God’s teachings in the lessons of Mary and Martha and how those lessons benefit us today. This is a beautiful read for young and old alike.

About the Author

Identity is a prison you can never escape, but the way to redeem your past is not to run from it, but to try to understand it, and use it as a foundation to grow.

Foreword

The creation of this book began with an inspiration led by the systemic adversities that our youth experience during their adolescence. I was intrigued by Marcus Lee’s concept of how to approach, attack, and transition the mindset of our youth by revealing the positioning factors that are sensitizing their self-worth and value in this world. Marcus and I, Tia Smith, the President of Faithful 15 Ministry, were introduced by mere interest of trade in a book-writing workshop. In the workshop, is where this book began to unveil its treasure, and reveal the ventom that image has injected into our youth. At this workshop, is where I was able to see the layers of his trilogy, go from possibility to mere overnight achievement.

Marcus Lee, being a highly recognized youth Director of 13 districts in the rural areas. He has a profound background of integrated communication with the youth community. His leadership has provoked an awareness of our youth impaired vision of identity. This book intertwines the everyday social media platforms and it’s verbiage to capture the reader’s attention by factors of assimilation. This book revisits the conceptualized idea of beauty, truth, and evidence by exposing the physiological mirror image reflection, and unmasking the depth of their inaccuracies that our youth don’t understand. This book shows them how to trace the factors and recalibrate their focus on themselves individually.

The disparities our young adults face on a day to day basis is greatly defined by the identity of fictional apparitions. This book encloses break- through resolutions using symbolic youth verbiage as marquee entries into every chapter. The text disassembles the prototype of human perfection projected into the youth culture, and integrates the essence of God’s assurance of perfection as a mere self-acceptance of who they are. This information restructures the concepts into visual lessons with creative terms to help connect the message on a hybrid level. This book brings God, education, code expressive language, and pictorial elements to the forefront, and unravels the depth of our teen enmities.

The reader will be engaged with unconventional methods of teaching within every chapter. Unlike coaching and lectorial books, this book walks with the reader step by step explaining how to break metaphoric image perspectives. The cross reference of stories and biblical scriptures gives mentorship and mental techniques to overcome the issues that the majority of our youth have to endure during their prime age of 13-19. I recommend this book to be incomparable to any source you have ever read. I advise you to use this book as a teaching source for any youth event, and I’m sure the direction of healing and deliverance will be mind blowing.

—Tia Smith, Faithful 15 Ministry
