About this ebook
He's got the body of a Greek god, a face of stone, and a soft spot for her curves...
Come and meet the men of Bourne Protective Services. And the women they're born to protect.
Brock
I started Bourne Protective Services after years of serving as an Army Ranger.
Protecting people as a bodyguard was never personal for me. Not until Lily.
The curvy ER nurse has some creep stalking her. That's how it all starts with us.
But from the moment I set my eyes on Lily Miller, I know that's not where it will end.
The Devil himself won't be able to stop me until she's safe again. And in my arms.
Lily
My overprotective parents didn't make it easy for me to deal with trouble in my life.
But they've moved across the country and left me alone to handle a freaking stalker.
So, I turn to the professionals at Bourne Protective Services, not sure what to expect.
I definitely wasn't prepared for the hard-faced and heavily-muscled Brock Bourne.
But all of this is just business for him, right? After all, it's what he does for a living.
And he surely couldn't be interested in more than being my bodyguard. Could he?
Brock is the FIRST book in the interconnected Bourne Bodyguard Series.
There are NO romance cliffhangers and a satisfying HEA for each of the couples.
These SHORT, sweet, and steamy romances are all about strong men with big hearts.
And the sassy heroines the men of BPS will do anything to win over and protect...

Brock (Bourne Bodyguards 1) - Mandy Morgan
Chapter One
Lily
I’d always thought bodyguards only existed in books or movies. But here I was, sitting in the parking lot of Bourne Protective Services, trying to work up the courage to go inside.
If it was up to me, I’d be at home, watching Netflix with my roomie, munching on some popcorn with one hand and petting my cat with the other. Of course, it had stopped being up to me last night.
That’s when I’d found a creepy note on the windshield of my car. I’d freaked out, which had made Blair freak out, and she’d insisted I go meet with Brock Bourne.
His website looks legit, Lily,
Blair had told me as she waved her phone in my face. And you told me the cops weren’t any help when you called them.
My best friend and roommate was usually bubbly and fun-loving, but she could also have a seriously stubborn side, which was how she’d gotten me to cave and come to BPS to look into personal protection.
And it’s probably all over nothing, I thought as I rolled my eyes and climbed the steps to the BPS office. I bet this whole thing will be a waste of time.
I’d been doing my best to convince myself I had nothing to worry about ever since I’d found that note. I had some experience with creepy guys, you see, and I’d worked hard to get over living in fear.
Back in high school, I’d been followed home from a party, and the guy had cornered me and stolen my purse. But the worst part was he’d also used my info to start stalking me.
My parents had flipped out and gone from slightly overprotective to militant. They’d put me on lockdown for the rest of my teen years.
Even though we lived in the small town of Scarlet Springs and not some big city like Denver. It had one of the lowest crime rates in the state. But I guess the guy stalking me hadn’t heard about that.
I mean, Mom and Dad were just trying to keep me safe, but they’d smothered me and ended up making it hard for me to feel secure on my own.
Which was why I’d breathed a sigh of relief when they’d decided to take an early retirement and move to Florida. They’d opened a beach bar and were loving it.
And more importantly, they’d given me a serious buffer zone
of almost two thousand miles, which gave me the chance to enjoy not having someone breathing down my neck 24/7.
That first creep had gone away eventually, and I was hoping I could handle this new one by myself to prevent Mom and Dad from freaking out yet again and come rushing back to Colorado.
Even if that meant using some of my hard-earned money to hire a bodyguard. I just hoped this Brock guy knew what the hell he was doing. Or was at least more help than the local police force had been.
A little bell dinged
