Chapter 1 – My beginnings
House under contract, and my walkthrough was complete. I had a home inspection done and my Termite and pest control had passed. My Purchase and Sale contract with the seller was in hand and I had come to an agreement with my buyer on a price. We were ready to go to closing. The house was ready to change hands and everyone was going to walk away with a smile on their face; The Seller, my Buyer and me. Then it happened……
How many times have you had that dream, or has this actually happened to you? All the pieces of the puzzle seem to be coming together and then a tornado happens and ruins that puzzle and now you have to find the pieces and put them back together all over again. Good thing is, on this particular deal, the border was still intact and I still had all the pieces. Luckily, all I had to do was make one phone call.
