About this ebook

I then turn and walk a bit further down the trail.
Glyr mind speaks to me, “Vampire coming on your right.”
I can hear the sound of movement, through the tangle wood and I prepare to defend myself.
Instead of a male vampire leaping at me, a female vampire emerges from the tangle wood and throws a net over me.
I use Glyr to pass the net away from me, to my right. I then use Glyr to point at an in the nude female vampire.
The female vampire tries to kind of slide past Glyr and sink her teeth into my throat.
Instead, the female vampire slides into Glyr’s blade and Glyr sucks the life force from the female vampire.
I can detect life around me and I slash at the air, with Glyr. I then walk a few steps further down the trail. I turn, with tangle wood at my back, and witness other vampires, making a cannibal feast of the female vampire that Glyr and I just killed.
I move back into the cannibal vampires and kill several of them, with Glyr.
Glyr eats life force and feeds me some of it.
I hear the foot steps of some one rushing at me from behind me. I turn and impale a male vampire, as it tries to rush at me. As with the female vampire, I feel huge strength, as Glyr impales the onrushing vampire. I am driven back a couple of steps, as Glyr sucks the life force out of the vampire.
I withdraw Glyr from the corpse of the vampire and I slash at the air, in case there is another vampire on the prowl.
Glyr feeds me some of the life force from the last kill.
I now feel energized. I grab my canteen and take several long swallows of water. I am now ready for the next event.
The next event proves to be four vampires who try to attack me, as a team.
I won’t play that game. I move into the tangle wood. I am very good and very experienced at moving through jungle or tangle wood forest.
The four vampires are unarmed and not all that well trained at moving, as a team, through tangle wood. My strategy is obvious. I will move through the tangle wood and just face one vampire attacker at a time. The obvious flaw in my strategy is fatigue. I will have to fight four fights, with no rest in between. Plus, there may be other vampires, in the tangle wood.
I have planned my play, now I play my plan. I move until I get the position that I want against a vampire. The tangle wood is too thick for a slash, so I move to where I can thrust Glyr into my vampire opponent. My thrust flies into the chest of the vampire and it would maybe not be a fatal strike, save that Glyr gulps life force from the vampire. I don’t need to use a second thrust, to make sure, since Glyr’s gulping of life force will add to the trauma of my sword thrust and the vampire dies immediately. In addition Glyr shares some of the life force with me and the new life force washes away some of my fatigue.
It’s dark in the tangle wood and I’m not exactly sure where the remaining vampires are. I have better low light vision than a human but I have to assume that the vampires also have very good low light vision. I’m not exactly sure where the remaining vampires are, Glyr is sure.

I'm the co-author, with Sunset Thomas, of Anatomy of An Adult Film.I have 48 novels and over 299 short stories currently published.I spent my early years in the part of Los Angeles known as the South Central. I was known as Whi' Boy, which was sufficient to identify me in that place. I'm a skilled Kung Fu player, using a system that I learned from a Korean I knew only as 'Pak.' It would be easier to tell you the places that Pak wasn't wanted by the police, rather than the places where he was wanted by the police. Pak's Kung Fu system, augmented by some bits and pieces from some Chinese practitioners is quick and effective, or I wouldn't be alive today. My early education was mostly obtained by stealing books from the public library (I always returned them and the Librarian even began to provide me with reading lists.) I did go to high schools, but I never really learned anything there. I eventually graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles, UCLA, with a degree in mathematics.I work as a Systems Analyst and also make a part of my living as a professional gambler (legal in Nevada.) I write science fiction and erotica. My published novels are:Anatomy of An Adult Film (With Sunset Thomas)1. Second Chance: God Killer2. Second Chance: Sky Pirate3. Second Chance: Scroll Seeker4. I'm sitting in a bus shelter, waiting for a bus. I'm bound for yet another work assignment. The reason for my work appointment is that I'm what you might call an anti-necromancer.

A necromancer is one who raises the dead and communicates with them.

I don't raise the dead, what I do is to deal with the ghosts of the dead and also with the undead. Sometimes I deal with demons. When I finish with the ghosts or the undead, they're neither ghosts nor undead. The demons are a bit more problem for me to deal with, but deal with them I do.

If I'm to deal with ghosts, the undead, or demons, I have to go where and when they are.

Where I can find a demon, at this time, is some distance away and I wait for a bus that will take me closer to where I can find a demon, actually a vampire this time.

When I can find a vampire, is Halloween night.

I appear to be a slightly tall man, of study build. I have very white skin and black hair. I'm sort of nondescript in appearance, trending maybe a tiny bit toward ruggedly handsome.

I wear brown denim clothing and high boots. The rugged denim and the brown color let me sort of fade into rural backgrounds.

I carry a backpack, filled with cash, a few changes of clothing, food, cooking utensils, a shaving kit, a few tools and Glyr.

Glyr appears to be a somewhat
