About this ebook

This is a booklet that is a bit useful for all those who pray to the Lord every day since early morning. In this booklet I have collected all the prayers that a good Christian recites daily for himself, for his brothers and sisters, for his enemies and for the Holy Mother Church. Use it every day to truly be men and women close to the Lord. Prayer brings us before God, unites us to God and makes us children of God, but everything happens with prayer and perseverance. Therefore, use it carefully and daily to be good and true Christians.

    Introduction to the book

This is a booklet that is a bit useful for all those who pray to the Lord every day since early morning. In this booklet I have collected all the prayers that a good Christian recites daily for himself, for his brothers and sisters, for his enemies and for the Holy Mother Church. Use it every day to truly be men and women close to the Lord. Prayer brings us before God, unites us to God and makes us children of God, but everything happens with prayer and perseverance. Therefore, use it carefully and daily to be good and true Christians.

    The Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

    The Our Father

«The prayer that God loves and that is familiar to him is the one we pray by taking from his words; is that Christ's prayer rises to him. May the Father recognize the words of his Son when we pray! May he who dwells in our breast be, himself, in our voice! " (San Cipriano)

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

    The Ave Maria

Composed of the Angel's greeting to the Virgin and Elizabeth's blessing homage, followed by a question for this moment and for that of death.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. You are blessed among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

    The Glory to the Father

Prayer affirms our faith in the Holy Trinity and pays the glorification to God, which begins in this life and will continue into eternity.

    Glory to the Father

and to the Son and the Holy Spirit.

As it was in the beginning

    and now and forever

    forever and ever. Amen

    The Angel of God

    Angel of God,

    that you are my keeper,

    enlighten, guard,

    rule and rule me,

that I was entrusted to you by heavenly mercy. Amen

    The Eternal Rest

We traditionally recite this prayer to all our deceased loved ones. We generally recite it during the visit to the cemetery or when we remember it.

Give them eternal rest, O Lord.

And let eternal light shine upon them.

May they rest in peace. Amen

Remember our dead, Lord, let your light shine on them, let them live in your peace forever. Amen

    The belief

The Creed is the symbol of our faith in Christ and in the Church. This prayer represents the faithful expression of the message that the Apostles transmitted to the Church: it is the profession of our faith.

I believe in God the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary; he suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; descended into hell; on the third day he rose from the dead; ascended to heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the Holy Catholic Church; ' the communion of saints; the remission of sins; the resurrection of the body; eternal life. Amen

    The Theological Virtues

The Theological virtues are the permanent qualities that perfect the strength of the soul and guide the exercise of good. " The theological virtues are supernatural virtues, infused directly by God and have God himself as their object. Exercise increases these virtues in us.

    Act of Faith

My God, because you are infallible truth, I firmly believe everything you have revealed and the holy Church proposes us to believe. And I expressly believe in You, the only true God in three equal and distinct Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And I believe in Jesus Christ, Son of God; incarnate and dead for us, who will give each one, according to merit, the reward or eternal punishment. According to this faith I always want to live. Lord, increase my faith.

    Act of Hope

My God, I hope from Your goodness, for Your promises and for the merits of Jesus Christ, our Savior, eternal life and the graces necessary to merit it with the good works that I must and want to do. Lord, may I enjoy you forever.

    Act of Charity

My God, I love you with all my heart above all things, because you are infinite good and our eternal happiness; and for your sake I love my neighbor as myself, and I forgive the offenses received. Lord, make me love you more and more.

    Act of Pain

My God, I repent and grieve with all my heart for my sins, because by sinning I have deserved Your punishment, and much more because I have offended You, infinitely good and worthy of being loved above all things. I propose with Your holy help never to be offended again and to flee the occasions of sin. Lord, mercy, forgive me.

The day of the good Christian

    Morning Prayers

From early morning the Christian awakens with the irrepressible desire to praise God, entrusting the day to him, with his work, his occupations, his joys and worries.

I love you, my God, and I love you with all my heart. Thank you for creating me, making me a Christian and keeping me tonight. I offer you
