About this ebook

There is a seemingly invincible monster that, at this very moment, haunts the lives of countless people around the world. This monster called anxiety has devastated souls like a hurricane that destroys everything on its way. Knowing the Perfect Gardener and the garden of the soul, we see a light at the end of the tunnel for anxious souls. ANXIETY AND THE GARDEN IN ME is a Christian work that promotes mainly philosophical self-knowledge while working on faith in the Creator. A short but profound book. Danilo H. Gomes

What happened to the world? Has it always been like this? I’m Danilo and I don't think so. Technology came about a few decades ago and has made our lives easier, bringing us happiness and growth. Great. Not everything is a bed of roses, though.

The same technology that has brought us closer together has also pulled us apart. An incredible and unexplainable phenomenon, isn’t it? In a fraction of seconds (or milliseconds), I can send and receive messages from people who live miles away from me. Meeting up in person to make up for lost time? Maybe this has become obsolete.

Looking at it from a certain angle, we can see that speed has harmed humanity. The internet has brought its magic in solving problems so quickly and, as a consequence, our system has also begun to require the same speed from people. But how could men compete with machines? I barely remember what I had for lunch two days ago - while my notebook stores data from years ago.

A new sort of chaos arose with the advent of the Internet - and it is at the center of this chaos that you and I are unfortunately in. Before anything else, I want to make it clear that I do not rebuke Internet usage, even because this book probably only got to you thanks to it. My stance is against the demands from the system in which we live.

Take a good look. In the world we live in nowadays, the system works
