About this ebook

Adam, a man who became complete after God's gift of Eve, had everything anyone could want. Not only did he have it all, everything that he had was perfect, living in harmony with Eve and his surroundings, the way God created it to be. Suddenly all of this changed, one decision by Adam rendered all of this to ash. Cast out of the Garden's beauty and perfection, Adam and Eve find themselves living the rest of their lives under a curse of hardship and death. Why?

The Garden of Eden: What Really Happened?
Author

Vincent Wilson

For over thirty years the author has worked in a technical or engineering field. A profession that specializes in data collection and analysis. With this strategy the author reviews the events and actions found in the first three chapters of Genesis, while also adding Biblical examples to develop a different view point of the Fall. The author's view is quite the opposite of the current negative opinion on the actions taken by the individuals in the Garden. 12/10/20: Vincent Wilson was born in North Carolina and dedicated his life to Christ at an early age. After turning sixteen his devotion to church began, and through the years he held the positions of treasurer, Sunday school teacher, deacon, associate pastor, and evangelist. He moved to Western North Carolina in 1985 and met his future wife while working out at a local gym. Married for just more than thirty-two years, he has three daughters, one granddaughter, and one son-in-law. He has worked in manufacturing all his career and has an associate’s degree in industrial engineering and a bachelor’s degree in business administration. This is his first book.

I dedicate this book to Jesus Christ, a friend who has never left me. He has always stayed with me. He told us he would stick closer than a brother, that he’ll never leave or forsake us even until the end of the world.

I would also like to dedicate this book to my family, who have taught me so much through the years.

And lastly, this book is dedicated to anyone who has read about the Fall in Genesis and didn’t see what God was telling us through Adam.

    About the Author

    PREFACE

What was Adam thinking? Was he thinking at all? With one decision, how could he justify throwing away all the incredibly good and perfect things that God had created and established during the creation process? Many people have jokingly said they would really like to tell Adam their opinion of his eating the fruit and the resulting hardship and death that followed. How many of these questions, statements, and more have been spoken by people regarding Adam’s eating of the forbidden fruit?

Shelves are filled with books on this subject by individuals searching for answers. Men and women have questioned the Fall, the events leading up to it, and its resulting punishment. It’s been a topic of conversation at home, work, social settings, or in church, which has ultimately led many to confusion or disagreement on the factors involved with the eating of the forbidden fruit, the consequential eviction from the garden, and the start of death for all humankind. Even a few ministers have occasionally proclaimed that when they get to heaven, they’re going to give Adam a piece of their mind over his mistake in eating the fruit. Obviously, much of this is spoken in jest and is humorously put into conversations or pastors’ messages to help make a point.

On the other hand, some who have read this passage in the Bible may view Adam and Eve’s actions as irresponsible and ill conceived. Based on discussions at church and after reading articles on this
