**Paranormal MC Romance**

_____

Koroleva "Banshee" Liutik wasn't supposed to exist. Her mother ran with her when she was born and hid her until they were found. Her mother died and Koroleva grew up alone in the forest until she moved to the city streets. It wasn't until Roark from the Dark Rebels MC found her that she found she could do more than just survive. She found a family and a new life.

Dorain Wesley was rescued by the Shifter Council as a young cub. His entire family murdered, the Council raised him and soon put him to work as one of their enforcers. Not once did he second guess the instructions they gave him, after all, they gave him everything he needed, including a purpose.

Then, in the midst of a continuing battle to protect the MC lands, the unexpected happens… Banshee finds something more than the MC to care about and Dorain finds a reason to say no to those he'd always trusted.

Will the two lost souls find a reason to do more than just follow orders and survive?

Author

S.E. Isaac

Coming from a family of military members, S.E. Isaac learned at an early age what it meant to travel. She spent six years of her childhood in Germany and the remainder in Missouri, USA. She became a young mother at the age of sixteen and learned what determination, motivation, and inspiration could do for one’s life. She has experienced just about everything life can throw at a person, from serving in the military, seeing the effects of war, divorces, childbirth, financial struggles, being a single parent, and raising a special needs child alone. Life hasn’t always granted her the happiness, which she desired, but she never quit treading water. You have to fight for what you want in life. Writing has always been an outlet for her, even at the young age of eight, which is when she started writing poetry and short stories. It has always been a dream to have her work published and to have readers connect with her characters. She believes that is every writer’s dream — to have their work truly read. Connect with S.E. Prologue

    Koroleva

    Twenty Years Ago…

Mama rushed into our small cabin which pulled my attention away from my coloring book. The Big Book of Coloring Pages was my birthday present and I was meticulously coloring each page as slowly as possible so I wouldn’t run out of pages too soon.

Koroleva, sweetie, please go grab your bag.

    But, Mama, I –

Don’t argue, child. We have to go. Remember, we practiced this.

I shivered from the dark memories of the dangerous men we ran from when I was small. I was a big girl now. I’d turned five on my birthday.

Koroleva, Mama called out to me as she rushed from the living area and into her room, please hurry.

Inside, my instinctual spirit, the one that resided inside of me, squirmed and hissed at the thought of those men coming back. It wasn’t fair. We shouldn’t have to run from our home.

Koroleva! Mama yelled and I snapped out of my thoughts.

I rushed into my room and grabbed the backpack and began to pack things as perfectly as I could. I had practiced a few times and learned that if I took my time I could fit twice as much into the bag. I was strong and knew I could carry it, too.

Mama rushed into my room. I could smell her fear and saw it in her eyes. My inner-instinct roared and pushed me to help my mama. I wanted to… but I didn’t know how.

    Mama…

They’re coming. We have to hurry. My mama was gazing off into the distance as she cocked her head and listened.

Mama had an instinct just like me. She had explained how we could hear, see, and smell better than the people who lived in the town where we picked up supplies. People didn’t like it when I heard them when I shouldn’t be able to. They didn’t like it when I approached them silently either. Mama and I had practiced being noisy and being silent. She told me I needed to know how to do both.

We’re out of time, Mama sighed. They’re on the road. We have to go… now, Koroleva.

My mama helped me zip up my backpack and heft it onto my shoulders. It was large and heavy but I could carry it. I followed Mama out to the living area and she slipped her pack onto her back and headed for the door.

As I reached the door, I remembered my coloring book and turned around to rush back for it. I was pushing my crayons into their box when I heard my mama’s screams.

Instinct took control and I felt my skin begin to vibrate and sting. Tears ran down my face as it became painful and I stumbled to the floor. Crawling I reached the door and watched a large man hit my mama. She flew backward and didn’t get up.

Find the child, he demanded. It has to be killed.

My inner-instinct pushed me to my feet. Everything looked and felt funny but I didn’t stop to figure out why. I wanted to go to my mama but my instinct told me to run. Mama always told me to listen to my instinct… so I did. I ran and didn’t stop until my body refused to move.

Sleep claimed me as I cried for my mama.

    Seven years ago…

Koroleva… a familiar voice filled my ear as I was shaken awake.

What is it, Allie? The dreams of the past still filled my mind as I pried open my eyes and looked at my friend.

    Someone is downstairs, she murmured.

Bolting up in my bed – a collection of several blankets thrown into a corner of the bedroom where we had camped out for several nights at this point – I listened intently.

Something was kicked across a room on the first floor.

I motioned for Allie to head out the window. One thing I learned from living on my own was that you never stuck around when someone you didn’t know showed up.

I wasn’t worried about the blankets – we’d just steal more once we found a new place to crash – but I grabbed my backpack which held the few items I considered precious. The few things I still had from the time with my mama.

The past ten years were a learning experience for sure. I had traveled the mountains and forests for what had to be a few years, living off whatever I could find. Then someone found me and took me to a city. I didn’t wait around to discover if they wanted to hurt me, I’d ran again but this time I hid on the streets. The city had supplies that someone like me could steal and survive a lot easier than being alone in the wilderness.

However, when I came across Allie a year ago while she was being attacked by street thugs, I realized that for some the city streets were dangerous. Allie and I had hitchhiked until we found a backwater town surrounded by woods and near a river. We’d arrived a few months back and took to sleeping in abandoned buildings and stealing provisions from houses when the owners weren’t home. It was simple and we had been safe. Until now.

Sliding the backpack up my arms and into position, I turned to head to the window when a shadow fell over the space in front of me.

Prospect, in here, a gruff voice called out.

I froze for a split second
