You can call me GG. GG Stands for Galaxygoddess, the screenname I have used since 2000. I started For the Whored as a lark and it just exploded. It started off very small, only a few pages at a time, but as I began to really get into what I was writing, it blossomed into something amazing. I have many fans over on the literotica page and many people have sent me questions about publishing an ebook. This is for them. A little about myself. I am currently married to a wonderful man and we have a 7 year old little boy who drives me bonkers. Things are great now, but they used to not be. My first husband was an abusive piece of garbage who abused me in ways I cannot share. One day I finally stood up to him one day and he broke my spine with a truck. It's a long story, one that I may be able to write about. Just know that now I'm great. I walk fine and only have minor back pain. This doesn't stop me from being a bit of a maniac. *wink* I hope people enjoy my work here as much as I enjoyed writing it. My current husband hasn't read it yet, the maniacal laughter as I wrote it kind of scares him. hehe

***Chapter 1***
A trickling light from above intruded on Emily’s slumber. Rolling over on her side, she wrapped her arms around the large tentacle that her head was cradled on to. A pair of smaller tentacles were wrapped around her waist, and the matching large tentacle was making its way down her side, its tiny suction cups doing interesting things to her skin on the way to her hip. She snuggled up against Balgar’s hard form behind her.
One of the smaller tentacles slid away from her waist and began to make its way down her body.
Mmm…
Emily groaned. As much as I’d enjoy that… I have a meeting this morning.
I am aware.
The wedge of the tentacle teased the inside of her thigh.
Shoving the large tentacle out of her way, she climbed out of bed. Enough of that. I let you lead, and I’ll be late. I’m never late.
He watched her as she went to the vanity and picked up a hairbrush. As she viciously attacked her hair, he sat up on his elbow. You don’t have to get mad at me.
With a sigh, Emily slowed her brushing. I’m not. I swear. I’m just nervous.
Since being on the planet of Aquarius, Emily had been assaulted, discovered hidden secrets of the Aquarians, changed the course of negotiations, gotten kidnapped, destroyed a huge network of tunnels containing the Ixthix, won the love and admiration of the planets inhabitants, gotten fired, and rehired as the human ambassador on the Aquarian council. But the weirdest thing of all, was falling for her guard, Balgar. On top of that, she had agreed to give her body to the strange science experiment of producing an offspring with him
Tossing her brush on the vanity, she pulled out a tablet and started making her required notes. Rubbing his hands on her shoulders, Balgar bent down and pressed his lips to the top of her head.
Eying the notes, he snorted. Do you have to?
We agreed to it.
As she made her notes, he sighed and picked up his own tablet. The day before, they had gone to the medical facilities and presented themselves as test subjects for the mating possibilities of their two races. Birdie, the lead obstetrician, had given them both an endless list of tasks, including recording any attempts at mating. Emily was still not completely certain she was in love with Balgar, but she felt she was at least close to it.
Love was not a word that Emily had used often. In fact, she wasn’t certain she had applied the word to a person since her parents’ death. As a foster kid in the system, she had no ties to family, and she had only a handful of dates to her name. Before Balgar, the last man she’d considered being intimate with, was years ago. At twenty-six, and her life ripped out from under her, she had no holds on anything.
It was depressing, and she tried not to think about it right now. She made her own stability, and she’d be damned if she wasn’t going to make this work. Balgar gave her something. She just didn’t know what.
Done.
She tossed the tablet back on her vanity and went to her dresser. This time she went with neutral earth tones. Mating she may be, but showing the breeding colors made her uncomfortable. She knew what had happened the first time she wore bright colors here.
Balgar had it easy. She thought to herself. He only had to wear his wetsuit, a uniform that all Aquarians seemed to wear, except for the council and some of the children. The council wore long flowing robes of the color of their status on the council. The children wore a mimicry of their parents, showing who belonged to what family. Balgar’s mother had surprised Emily. Talali was the Master healer and current leader of the council.
Today was an important day. The New Star Alliance had sent down a massive array of military and weapons to sniff out the remaining Ixtix from the cave system that she had destroyed. Military satellites had detected some faint signals indicating a presence. What was left was undetermined.
Eying herself in the mirror, she decided she needed to check out what kind of stores they had here. The people of Aquarius had only supplied her with about six outfits. Balgar had not taken her on a tour of the shops. Of course, she had the little problem of funds. Had they frozen her accounts when she was fired? She needed money if shops were even on the list to do.
Emily sighed and ran her fingers over the edge of her jacket.
What troubles you?
Balgar stroked her cheek with the back of his hand.
Taking his hand, she pressed her cheek to it. The fine scale was bumpy to her skin. Too much.
She shook her head. Everything is happening so fast, and I cannot keep up. Right now, you’re all I have. Well, you and Mr. Bear.
Reaching out, she rubbed a hand over the top of the bear’s tattered and burned head.
You have my mother as well.
That may be the most confusing part.
Emily laughed and leaned against him. I’ll figure it out as I go. I don’t want to be late.
He took her hand, pulling it up to his lips. We will help you.
He kissed the back of her hand, and one of his small tentacles reached out and slid around her wrist and up her forearm.
I don’t know why I like when you do that.
***Chapter 2***
Walking to the council room, a thousand questions plagued Emily’s mind. She tried to focus on one topic, to find her starting position, but it all failed her. Lifting her chin, she squared her shoulders and pushed the panel by the door. Balgar slid his tentacle from her arm, standing back by the door.
You’re safe here.
He brushed her chin with his knuckle. I must meet with my commander. Things have… changed.
Yes, of course.
Watching him walk away, she was shocked at herself. Reluctant, unsure, confused. So many emotions struck her all at once. At what point had she come to rely on his presence? Taking a deep breath, she let it out nice and slow.
Not doing this. Not her. She would do as she always had. Relying on herself was what she needed, what she would do. Her relationship with Balgar meant everything and nothing. It was not part of her job. Searching her emotions, she realized that when she had the job to fuel her, she didn’t need anything or anyone. When she lost that job, she had reached out and he had been there for her. That was the end all be all of it.
She admitted to herself that
