You can call me GG. GG Stands for Galaxygoddess, the screenname I have used since 2000. I started For the Whored as a lark and it just exploded. It started off very small, only a few pages at a time, but as I began to really get into what I was writing, it blossomed into something amazing. I have many fans over on the literotica page and many people have sent me questions about publishing an ebook. This is for them. A little about myself. I am currently married to a wonderful man and we have a 7 year old little boy who drives me bonkers. Things are great now, but they used to not be. My first husband was an abusive piece of garbage who abused me in ways I cannot share. One day I finally stood up to him one day and he broke my spine with a truck. It's a long story, one that I may be able to write about. Just know that now I'm great. I walk fine and only have minor back pain. This doesn't stop me from being a bit of a maniac. *wink* I hope people enjoy my work here as much as I enjoyed writing it. My current husband hasn't read it yet, the maniacal laughter as I wrote it kind of scares him. hehe

***Chapter 1***
An angry cry jolted Emily from her sleep. A second cry echoed the first, and soon it was a clash of the two. Emily struggled to untangle her bleary mind and body from Balgar’s grasp. He slid free and whispered to her. Calmed by him, she settled back, and waited. He left the bed, and she watched him go. Eying the clock, she sighed.
During the day, many wished to lend their hands and tentacles to what they had dubbed the hope of the Aquarians, but at night, when it was just the two of them, their sleep was anything but solid. Parenthood, Emily decided, wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. They were only two weeks old, she told herself, and not even close to able to fend for themselves.
They moved, they wriggled, and they made messes of themselves. What had she been thinking when agreeing to this project? It wasn’t a project now, but a piece of herself. An angry piece that demanded to be fed at odd hours and changed in between. People volunteered for this, she repeated to herself several times a day. She had volunteered for this. Babies had never been her interest, but something had taken hold of her mind that day, and now she felt it was a lapse in sanity.
Balgar returned to the room, two bundles in arm and tentacle. Dressed and dried, they were demanding again. Emily sat up in bed and pulled free her breasts. Securing each bundle to her, she sat back and tried not to fall back asleep. Balgar wrapped his large tentacles around them, an offering of comfort and support. Well fed, and rocked back to sleep, Balgar plucked the bundles from her arms and headed back into the other room.
Emily snuggled back down into the bed and was out before he returned. Checking on her comfort, Balgar tucked the blankets around her sleeping form before moving to his desk and sorting through his profiles. Aquarians did not require as much sleep as humans, and he knew his Emily was exhausted.
The profiles amused him. He had narrowed the field of eligible Aquarians down to twenty, and he needed only five. Listening for sounds of distress from either Emily or the babies, he continued in his work. This work was important because he held the fate of all Aquarius in his hands. Studying one profile, he sat it to the side. The candidate was strong, an elite force, and well documented in the psychology profiles the humans were so fond of. Balgar had tried not to pick favorites, but this one fit what he thought was necessary, and he knew he could talk to him in the realistic way Emily wanted.
Five Aquarians would be chosen, and each would be given five human women to choose from. The chosen women would then fly to meet their matches. Mating rituals would be observed, and the dance would be recorded, hopefully ending in mating scenarios that would result in more children like his. With a frown, he ran his fingers over the screen, flipping through profiles. Hopefully, none of them would experience the same heart break he and his Emily had endured.
Balgar put his hands to his face and sighed. Little Eva Marie and little Caleb had survived, but they had lost dear Alphonse. His tiny body committed to the waters of Aquarius. It hurt him deeply, and he knew Emily still cried. Sometimes he would find her in the other bedroom, alone with that empty crib. He debated getting rid of it. But he worried that the act would hurt her more. So, he allowed it. Not that he allowed
Emily anything. She did as she pleased. It was just a matter of his distaste for anything that caused her grief.
One of the profiles caught his eye and he opened it to a full view. This one would work. He recognized the man as the son of the shop owner that tended to give Emily carved turtles. Balgar felt it generous to include this one in the five-man line up. Only three more to decide.
A sound caught his attention, and he turned his head. Shifting again, he heard the sound. Realizing its source, he walked over and climbed in the bed, wrapping arms and tentacles around Emily. She buried her face into his chest and wept. He knew she was still asleep, but that the dreams had taken her dark again. Whispering words of quiet and comfort, he eased her back to a calm state. Holding on to her, he felt like crying himself.
***Chapter 2***
Two weeks later, Emily stood wearing her council robes as she examined the five Aquarians. In her hand she held a tablet, and as she looked at the men, she flipped through their profiles and examined the women they had chosen. Balgar stood behind her, the children napping in their strollers.
"Everything looks good. I have accepted your choices and I have made accommodations for these women to be brought here as soon as possible. Now, it takes four months to get here from earth, so in the meantime we will be gathering data, coaching you on interactions, and otherwise setting you up for success. I will have it noted that these women are not brought here specifically to please you, nor are they here solely for the purpose of bearing children. The goal here is to form relationships. If this is to work out according to plan, you will find life mates. You will find something like Balgar, and I have.
These are people, you are people. We are all not just the sum of our parts. Yes, the Aquarian race is dwindling, yes, it is difficult for Aquarian males to find mates, but if you focus on breeding alone, you are not qualified for this experiment."
Emily flipped through the profiles on her screen. Landing at one, she eyed the information. Talar.
She turned her attention to the elite force member. He came to attention and nodded. "Tell me why you
