The prayers in this book can be my answered reality if I can only believe.

"For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and doesn't doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says. GUILT

Wake up!!! You worthless child!!

Zara heard the angry voice of her stepfather intruding into her sleep and fear gripped her heart. Trembling on the bed, she tensed waiting for more harsh words that she knew were coming but there was nothing.

Fearfully, she opened her eyes peering into the darkness but could only hear the heavy breathing of her husband beside her on the bed. Then, it occurred to her that she had been dreaming, it was a nightmare, a voice from her past, from her childhood…

A wave of depression came over her as she lay there in the dark remembering again her childhood.

Zara was brought up by her stepfather, a farmer, a very angry patriarchal man. He married her mother when she was about six years old and eventually, they had four boys together. Zara never knew her own father, her mother had her when she was a teenager and she refused to tell her anything about him. At the beginning everything
