The poems in this book were written over the course of a few years, and they explore both sadness and joy that we experience while on Earth, the thoughts and feelings about death of oneself and the passing of ones we love. I feel as though we spend much of our human existence ruminating and worrying about death and the afterlife, so some of this poems celebrate life.
