Vusi Mxolisi Zitha is always been known by his virtue of honesty and integrity. His educational background in Nature Conservation includes writing of reports, articles and conducting field research.  In 2009 he was involved in a Road Safety school debate under the motion: “Public transport and infrastructures are now ready for the 2010 FIFA world cup”. He got a certificate of achievement from the road safety department having been successfully defeating over nine schools contesting. His scholastic contextual in nature conservation and debate has given him a broad base from which to approach many topics. Vusi has also served as a youth leader in the Church of God of Prophecy for over nine years. Chapter 1

Scene 1

The deadly turns

In a small urban, a definite loving and considerate family of three feminine children, later gave birth to a manly kid.

Both parents were precisely animated that after a long age of waiting, God has finally blessed them with a male child. The boy grew and later matured to discover that in the house; the walls were ornamented with more of his sister's images except his.

In a verge of perplexity he assumed, perhaps when he became fully grown, his parents will consider adding some of his portraits on the wall; however; they didn't.

Following his parents inconsideration; He begun to question himself why? Is it because they hate him or what?

Nevertheless he certainly couldn’t get answers from his queries, and under no circumstances did he even bother querying from his parents.

For he alleged, it could be that they didn't want to add his photographs for their selfish reasons.

A thought to inquire from his parents crossed his mind but then, it was never his intention to provoke them to add his portrait just because he expressed his concerns about it.

The young man’s unsettlement developed and he became covetous and jealous; he grew in hatred contrary to his parents and never was he affectionate of his sisters too.

He could always lock himself alone in his chambers, despite his parents calling him out at least to bond as mother, father and son; he would grant them the favor of his presence but with a sulking face.

That brought so much concerns to them, for even though they tried enquiring him about it; he would give them a nothing is wrong with me as a response.

This unprecedented behavior became his daily temperament in the house, until one day his parents turned out to be ill. Apparently his father was suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. While the mother was suffering from a long term kidney infection.

Owing to that, the young man’s mother started experiencing some abdominal pain and chills, which triggered his father’s blood pressure and sugar levels. The young man happened to be the only person in the house while his three sisters were out on vacation.

Both parents wailed for help with a low distinct voice asking him to take them to the hospital but he refused. He said in his mind; how can I offer assistant to people who have proven their hatred towards me since from childhood.

The illness became worse and by the time he realized that his parents were gravely ill; that is when he drove them to the nearby hospice.

Twenty minutes after they were admitted, his mother was reported dead from kidney failure. When the news about her death came to her husband’s attention, he too could make it.

He joined his wife to a journey of no return. The boy was still waiting to hear from the doctor about the condition of his mom and dad. Actually he was moving up and down as a sign of unsettlement, frustrations were written over his face.

In the meantime, the doctor came out of the ward with the looks of discontent, and had two tiny necklace locket in his hand. Out of curiosity the boy stood up and went towards the doctor before he could reach him and said; doctor how my parents are?

The doctor slowly removed his spectacles and sat him down, grasping him by the right shoulder he said;

your parents didn’t make it, they were brought too late in the hospital and their ailments were too critical for them to survive in a short space of time.

The doctor then gave him the two tiny necklaces lockets, seemingly the young man’s parents always put on those locket heart necklaces on them.

While weeping over their departure; the young man decided to open both necklace lockets and behold! Both necklaces sealed off images of him written our only son.

It became a devastating moment of his life as he was overwhelmed with grieve and pain, for just as he believed his parents detested him, he just discovered how much they loved him.

He cried out loud rushing into the ward where his parents were kept.

Getting there; he screamed mom, dad but there was no response. What he could see was the lifeless body of his father and mother next to each other. He continued to cry and couldn't live with the regrets of ignoring his parents to death.

His sisters came back from vacation after receiving the sad news concerning the death of their parents. They all wept while meeting in the sitting room, which is when the three sisters saw the need for a family union.

To that effect, they came to kneel before their younger brother while weeping and said; "brother, it is a fact without denial that we haven’t been keen-sighted, but this is time for us to come together as a family.

The fact of the matter is that; long ago, our parents wanted a male child so dearly, and glory be to God for granting their desire.
