A Host of Divine Inspiraiton contains inspired philosophy, inspired poetry, and a mini dictionary of my understanding of the meaning of spiritual, religious and medical words that are not common outside of their realm. This book includes something for everyone, especially those that are interested in increasing their knowledge.

This is the third in a series of books following Inspirations of The Divine and A Question of Divine Inspiration. You can follow me and my life as it unfolds as well as giving you a little insight into my life as a spiritual medium and spiritual Officiant (which is a Junior Minister), and now of course an author.

The fourth book in the series will be called More Inspirations of The Divine but you will have to wait and see what it contains. It will reflect my life, my spiritual development and probably my experiences as a member of the SNU Ministry and medium.

Introduction

Hello, I am Susie Matthews OSNU. I am an Officiant of the Spiritualists National Union as well as being a Spiritual Medium. I also run my own circle. I teach workshops, officiates at weddings, funerals, namings, blessings, memorials, scattering of ashes etc. I take church services, and I give demonstrations of mediumship and give private readings also. I also serve the SNU (Spiritualists National Union) in a number of other ways and help out where and when I can, as well as now being a Spiritual Author.

In my last book, A Question of Divine Inspiration, I shared with you a bit of my life and how I developed my mediumship. I have also included questions that I have been asked over the years, and the answers that I have been given. I should say, that as in this life, not everyone on the other side (Spirit World) totally agree on all the answers.

In my first book, Inspirations of The Divine, I included inspired poetry and philosophy that have been given to me by the Spirit World.

In this book, I am going to include a mixture of philosophy, some poetry and a section on words and their meanings that I have come across in my studies as well. The meanings of the words are my understanding of them based on what spirits have taught me and what I have picked up along the way as you do with normal language. So, hopefully, no matter where you are on your pathway and what level of understanding that you have, there is something for everyone in this book.

As always I ask that you read this book with an open mind. If you are happy with what you read and it resonates with you, then that is wonderful. I have read many books over the years and some of them I cannot get on with at all. Those that do not resonate with me I have put to one side and will read them again when I feel drawn to them. If I still do not understand them then I believe that I have sown the seeds which will later blossom into spiritual flowers.

Therefore, I submit to you this book. It is written in love and humility. I hope it will help you along your pathway and bring to you some of the knowledge and enlightenment of the truths of the spirit. That life is truly a continuous circle of love, enlightenment and progression through service to God and each other.

Preface

I have never considered and indeed do not consider myself an author and even though I have had two books published, I still do not consider myself an Author. The way I look at it is that I am just a channel for the Spirit World to use to get their message through to help others on the Earth along their pathway. The reason that I have decided to write these books is solely because I am told that many others will benefit from them, either by reading them and planting the seeds of understanding, or by gaining knowledge from what is contained within these books and therefore helping them along their spiritual pathways. Also to let people know that what they are feeling and going through, they are not alone.

It must be understood that we are all at different points in our development and spiritual understanding. Therefore, what is easy for one person to understand is not necessarily easy for others to understand. So within not only this book, but my other books too, I hope that there will be some knowledge and enlightenment for everyone. This, we (my team and I) hope will either place you on the pathway, or will help you to move further along your pathway to be nearer to the true source of all knowledge, all inspiration, all love and all light.

‘The Source’ is known by many names: God, Great Spirit, Jehovah, The Creator, Allah, Wakan Tanka, Elohim, Cosmic Consciousness, The Divine etc. He has many willing and loving souls that serve him both in the Spirit World/Heaven as well as here on the Earth. From the Archangels to the Spirit Teachers, the Council of Elders, the Lords of Karma, to name but a few.

There are many Spirit Teachers as I call them, these are spiritually evolved souls whose lives are in the Spirit World and whose mission it is to teach those that are willing to listen and learn. They reside in the Spirit World, but come to the Earth and teach through different Mediums here on the Earth. Among the more well-known are Zodiac, Silver Birch, White Eagle, Red Cloud, Hafed and Ramadan. There are many others, but these perhaps, you may have heard of.

At this point again, I will say that they all do not necessarily agree on everything. I would suggest that you do as I have done and that is read what you feel drawn too and accept that which resonates with you. When reading your book, if you do not understand then you can call on the Archangel of Study to help you.

Also, I think it is fair to say that reading is just a part of your spiritual development and should, if possible, be combined with other forms of learning, e.g. meditating, sitting in development circle, attending services, enrolling in courses, workshops and joining study groups etc. That way you will gain all-round development in the best way possible for you.

I was unable to read books or attend workshops or courses or do anything that cost money in the beginning as part of my development, because I came from a very poor family. I was developed directly by my Spirit Team, like the pioneers of modern spiritualism were developed. Sitting in love, humility and patience. This took many years and I believe that this is ongoing because you never stop learning. Any Medium that tells you they are fully qualified and know everything, and also if they tell you that they can guarantee you a private reading, that is in my opinion wrong. After all there are no guarantees when it comes to spirit communication. I believe that you go on developing and learning, not only in this life, but in the life, that follows on from this one, when this life ends.

The place we go to when this life ends again is known by many names: Happy Hunting Grounds, Heaven, The Spirit World, Valle Halle etc. As always, I have tried to make my books understandable to all denominations religions and beliefs. I believe in the Seven Principles of SNU Spiritualism, but I also believe that there is truth in many other religions, beliefs, faiths and understandings. Those that are closest to my heart are Spiritualism, Native Americanism, Wiccan and Buddhism. I do not restrict myself to any one in particular. The reason for this is very simple. God made man and man-made Religion. I believe in The One God and the service of Him. You cannot, in my opinion, put an Earthly label on something that is of the spirit.

Once again, I say please accept only what resonates with you. May you always be guided by the light and your hearts filled with love.

A Temple in Spirit

Here I am at the doors of the Temple. Many come to this place from different realms. Some from the Earth in their sleep state, others from different spheres in our world. There are many doors to this temple and each one is for souls at various stages of their development. The conditions for a soul who is still in the physical would be of a lower vibration than a soul whose is say, from the higher spheres. The doors all lead to a corridor and from that corridor are rooms where one can acclimatise to the conditions. Beyond these rooms is another long hall that leads to the centre.
