My Credo

I can still remember my surprise, when Prof. Bienert, a church historian in Marburg, encouraged us to write down a personal creed, only for ourselves.
A private creed? Maybe even contrary to the Apostles' Creed, with which we are all grown up?
To listen to my own voice, my own heart, seemed to me almost too daring at the beginning of my theological studies. Now I know that the belief is a personal matter of the heart. To feel yourself, to be aware of what I really do believe, is not a sign for a lack of belief, but vice versa can us wake up from routine and indifference. No fear! This book is a revised edition of my book "Credo - I believe", published 2015.
