Delvin tipped his face up into the heated streams of water cascading down over him. Eyes closed, he braced his hands against the tile wall and waited. Waited for the grime and smoke to be washed away, for the aches and pains to vanish, for the time for this fucking party he didn’t want to attend to blow by.
