Sometimes real life is far better than any story one could possibly make up. The following short story is all true, and yes, happened to this very author.

So I’m a junior in college…theatre major. First show of the season is a music hall. Just a series of songs, solos, duets, trios…no chorus numbers though. And it’s student-directed. Show’s broken into four sections, each one directed by a different senior to give them some additional directing experience. Each section has a junior for assistant director. I’m a junior. I’m assistant director for the first section of the music hall.
