    Introduction

EIGHT came as an idea of developing a series of steps to grasp the concept of change for spiritual evolution. We all go through ups and downs in life; however, we all perceive our experiences differently.

Throughout my journey, living in various cities, travelling to different countries, and interacting with many people; from gurus to the homeless; I was able to deepen my awareness and resonate with valuable lessons.

The EIGHT anecdotes portrayed are relative to the average reader, and approachable to the different perceptions of those who read it. This book is a useful tool and a fun read. Fun, because each anecdote is accompanied by a wacky yet enlightening fable that will leave the reader with a smile on their face.

Personally, I hope to contribute my two cents with the intention of making the world a more positive place to coexist in. As a result, a good way for me to do this was by writing this book. I really hope that you enjoy it. Thank you for your time and for believing in my concept. Now let’s dig in!

    Anecdote 1

    Screw It, Let It Go

"L etting go is one of the healthiest life decisions I could have made," was my motto for months. When I began to let go of everything that did not serve my evolution, I discovered a new world of freedom. This allowed me to embark on new journeys that enhanced my excitement and made me feel like a feather that goes wherever the wind carries.

Surrendering to the moment and going with the flow, is what allowed me to experience every instant for what it is. Every second, of every minute, of every hour, of every day. For the past years, I have been merging with the wind and transported to unknown destinations where my fate can be subdued, and my destiny can be lived how my soul wants it to.

It is when a person hits rock bottom that everything loses its importance. Either we become depressed, angry, and redundant to what anyone has to say, or oblivious to the beauty that life and this enlivening world have to offer. Then, we commence to fall deep into a hole where the light becomes dimer and this existence is only reflected in darkness.

Darkness is a reflection of light, without light there is no shadow, without shadow, light can be blinding.
