    Craving A Young Hitta's Love - K.A. Williams

    Chapter 1

Kansas strutted into the bedroom like she was ripping the runway. Most women believed confidence didn’t come easy after having a child. But she, however, poked her chest out, looked in the mirror and accepted herself for who and what she’d become. It’s what strong women did to keep going in the world. To feel like they’re worthy of something.

I hope you’re ready for all of this. Kansas sashayed over to the bed where Javier laid. After being married for eight years, intimacy was something they scheduled twice a week since Javier was always working late and having his mind on his job whenever he wasn’t working.

Come on woman, don’t be a tease. Javier grabbed Kansas by the wrists and pulled her onto the bed. When he watched porn, he wasn’t ever the type of man who watched how the people ended up in bed together, and that’s how he was when it came down to sex. He just wanted to get to the good part, get his nut and roll the fuck over and be done with it. While Kansas on the other hand enjoyed foreplay, to warm up to the full course.

Eight years ago, they were younger and in love, no one could tell Kansas that they were incompatible. He was the blessing one year after the storm that hoovered over her. He was the man that caught her by surprise and made her see that all men weren’t the same. And not everybody wanted to take advantage of her. He showed her different, then little by little she opened up to him and fell right into his arms.

But soon as she popped up pregnant with their daughter, things changed. Javier changed, he started being more demanding. Threatening to leave Kansas barefoot and pregnant if she didn’t abide by his rules set forth. Following those very rules meant she had to give up her dreams and cater to the little family she didn’t plan to have until later down the road. She bowed to his commands in fear she would lose a good thing, she thought anything would be better than being attacked in a bathroom stall at the first party she ever attended in college. The first and last party.

Bae, this is supposed to be a tease. Remember when I said we need to spice things up? Kansas giggled as Javier ripped the nightgown from her body and tossed it onto the floor. She had to give it to him, he was the man when it came to him being in control. At least he used to be.

In the beginning she enjoyed him taking control of her body and allowing little time for her to take charge. However, it all grew old, it slowly died like dehydrated ferns in the Summer. It didn’t take long for her to realize, it wasn’t that she liked him being in control of her, instead she was afraid that he would hurt her like her attacker. That he would beat her until she was bloody leaving her for dead.

I have work in the morning, Sas. I have work. There’s a lot on my plate right now. Maybe you can do this whole tease thing some other night. Javier planted a trail of kisses on Kansas’ neck as he slabbed his dick against the hood of her pussy to get it hard. I have work.

After five minutes of Javier doing the same thing to get hard, Kansas finally looked down and tried giving him a helping hand. Come on, I can help. Let me help.

No, I don’t need your help. I’m just tired. We should just try again tomorrow. Javier removed himself from on top of Kansas and rolled over onto the mattress. His whole inability to get hard wasn’t nothing new. It’d been that way for the last two years.

From a perky twenty-one-year-old to a thirty-year-old woman, her body changed in ways she wasn’t proud to announce. It wasn’t because she got lazy and comfortable in her new life. It was due to Javier not wanting her to go to the gym and him watching her like a hawk if she ate too little. He was always throwing it up in her face that she was trying to look good for another man or that she looked appealing to him and she didn’t need to change.

You’re always tired, Javier. On vacation. On your off days. Anniversaries and birthdays. You’re always tired. I try my best to make things exciting between us. For us. You’re just always too damn exhausted to participate. Kansas hopped out the bed disgusted at the fact her own husband wasn’t interested enough to serve her five minutes of endless dick. Just five minutes since that’s all it ever took for him to get his rocks off before leaving her high and dry like a slut on the streets.

You have a roof over your head. You have all these nice things around you. I take care of our family. Kendra doesn’t want for anything. You don’t want for anything, so don’t give me that bullshit. I said I’m tired and that’s the end of it, Javier raised his voice as a fair warning for Kansas to back the fuck down. He hadn’t laid a finger on her to cause injury, he did come close a few times in the past during their heated arguments.

This isn’t what I wanted for my life, Javier. Kendra, she’s a blessing and I will never regret her. But having her didn’t mean I had to throw my entire life away. I see working women doing it all, taking care of home while being career women, Kansas challenged Javier. As a child all she ever dreamed of was becoming some big-time reporter. After graduating from LSU with a bachelor’s in journalism at only twenty years old, she put her painful past behind her. She’d been working towards her dreams since she graduated high school at seventeen with honors with a few roadblocks along the way.

I’m going the fuck to bed. Don’t bother me with this petty ass argument. I’m done. Javier put on his soundproof headphones and tucked himself underneath the covers without any further words. Kansas knew him all too well to know that he’d said what he had to say. He’d never been the type to do the whole screaming match. Kansas figured it was because he didn’t give a damn about their marriage. He was only in it to look good in the public and raise Kendra until she reached eighteen then he was going to bounce like all the other secretly unhappy men.

Okay, fine. Fine. Kansas grabbed her phone off the nightstand. She headed into the bathroom with one thing on her mind: to relieve the sexual frustration. It never took long for Javier to fall into a slumber, after a good ten minutes of undisturbed silence, he was gone for the night. So, she never was in fear of any interruptions.

Kansas grabbed her bullet from her makeup bag, the only item in the house that she was sure Javier would never look through because any and everything about makeup disgusted him. He always argued with Kansas about how a woman should embrace her natural beauty. Love the way God created her. And all that damn bullshit he tried feeding her over years.

Big, black cock, me please. Kansas typed in her favorite porn as her pussy was already watering from the need to feel some kind of loving from a man. She was in need to know exactly what it felt like to be fucked until she fell into ecstasy. Something that was supposed to be so natural for a married woman had become a fantasy. She hadn’t had an orgasm while having sex with Javier in five years. He wasn’t the type to care, long as he got his rocks off everything was peaches and muthafuckin’ cream.

Mhmm, fuck. Yeah, fuck her pussy. Kansas moved the bullet around on her clit and before the video could get to the juicy part, she fell into a quick, intense orgasm that would keep her over until the following morning.

Right after she turned the phone off and tucked the bullet away in her makeup bag. She slid to the floor in tears. Her life was more miserable than when she was suffering from the aftershock of being raped. Just like her attacker made her feel, Javier was doing the same thing. He made her feel like she wasn’t worthy to breathe the same air as him. Like she was a burden on everybody. It was hard for her not to feel like she deserved the tail end of life.

Well, if you’re serious about returning to the workforce and finally putting your degree to use, there’s a position open for an investigative reporter. It’s a temp job since Nancy will be returning after her maternity leave. But depending on how well you preform we may keep you around, Zendae said as she took a steady whiff of the Salem Slim cigarette. When she first started with Brown & Hatchet newspaper group smoking wasn’t something she ever thought would be a terrible habit. But working as an Editor-in-Chief came with long nights and early mornings.

That sounds like heaven. You just don’t understand how I’m losing my mind in here. Kendra started school three years ago with this coming school semester. I wake up at the break of dawn, cook dinner, see her off to school, then I get Javier’s clothes out. I run his bath or shower, whichever one he’s in the mood for. Then I clean up this house too many times a day just to keep busy. Kansas propped her feet on the patio table.

Kansas and Zendae both had dreams of moving away from Louisiana and seeing what a different part of the states had to offer. The plan was to move out to New York and chase their dreams just like the thousands of others who lived in the city and breathed Journalism with every waking breath. But their first internships brought them to Las Vegas and that’s where they grew to love. It was far away from both of their painful pasts. It was a fresh start; they could’ve been whoever they wanted.

I try to go out sometimes for brunch. Just to get my mind right, the whole time I’m there, I’m thinking about what I’m going to cook for dinner and if I ironed Javier’s boxers, Kansas confessed to her miserable life.

Iron his boxers? Sas, are you serious? You really iron that man’s boxers. And have you ever heard of takeout food? Winston knows that everything in our household is fifty-fifty. We both work to pay the bills; he cooks when I’m too tired and sometimes the man even takes out my clothes for work. He gets the children dressed for school upon knowing I’ve had a rough day at work the day before. Zendae put out the cigarette, turning her attention to the glass of red
