Courtney’s fingers gripped tightly around her phone as the call ended, but she resisted the temptation to slam it down. She heard Brett shouting after her, but was in no mood to carry on the conversation. His comment about there being other options had broken into her anger and made her think of something. It wasn’t exactly an idea her husband would approve of, but she wasn’t planning to give him the chance to refuse. She wasn’t even sure if she would go through with it herself and went to lie down on her bed to think.

The idea of using her co-worker, Jamal, to get pregnant played around in her head, but she eventually tried to put it out of her mind. She wasn’t planning to leave her husband over what happened, but blamed him entirely for the problem because of his insistence that they wait until his career was secure. Especially if she went through with the full plan that was hatching in her mind and actually made Brett watch her being fucked.

She and Jamal had worked together for a number of years and she was fully aware of his reputation as a bit of a playboy. They worked closely together though and while they weren’t what she would call close friends, they spoke most days.
