      Evan had been planning to kill himself for months. Years, really, if he were to be honest with himself. He had thought about it after rolling out of bed. He thought about it while soaping himself in the shower. He hadn’t thought about it much while he was masturbating, but the thought came around again shortly after he finished.

      He thought about it while he ate cold cereal on the couch. He consider all the myriad ways he could off himself as he listlessly scrolled through the options on Netflix. He supposed a gunshot would be fastest but he didn’t own a gun, and he wasn’t about to go out and buy one just for this purpose.
