Hiya, I'm Christy.  I write books, am an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, and a proud supporter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.  I try to write things that move people, emotionally and mentally.  I write horror with a lot of suspense, thrillers with emotional pulls all over the place, but also things that are useful like self-help, motivational, and educational.  I look foward to moving you to a better place than you were before one way or the other.  Happy Reading!

    Blood Runs Blue

    A Totem of Talons Short

Erin didn’t want to go to the stupid blueberry festival downtown. It was last minute, going out where people would be, and it would likely be old people. It had been a while since the three of them had hung out, so when Lydia said, what else are you gonna do? she knew the answer nothing wasn’t going to suffice. As much as she hated impromptu get-togethers, she had turned down the last few invites. So, she agreed to meet up.

    ––––––––

It’s a nice evening and I hear these festivals have good food that you don’t have to cook she told herself. That alone would make it worthwhile. It had been ages since she had gone out and done anything that wasn’t adulting. This will be fun, she said as she threw her hair up in a ponytail and headed out the door.
