The Ghost of XXX-mas Came

There was nothing Ebby Scrouge hated more than board meetings. She had just this morning turned 28. She was brilliant, drop-dead gorgeous, and worth 2.8 billion. She had it all, basically. But a board meeting meant spending hours in a room full of men she couldn't say no to. Men she had to appease. Men who had to patiently explain to her the very many colossally annoying things that stood between her making more money. At least she'd scheduled it on Christmas Eve. She took some pleasure in knowing she was keeping them from their families and their mistresses.

But she'd still have to take her frustrations out on someone tonight, she decided, trying not to yawn through Willoughsby's slide presentation.
