Sparky Boy was born on a small family dairy farm in the country. The owners did not have the time to raise the puppy, so they gave the puppy to a friend who owned a pet shop in the city. Just one month later, Lily, a lonely businesswoman, went to the local pet market in her small town hoping to find a special puppy for her home. When she arrived at the pet shop, Lily found the puppy wrapped warmly. I’m looking for a white, fluffy pup for my home, she told the shop owner.

The owner replied, smiling, We have just what you’re looking for right here. With a warm hug, Lily picked up the puppy and wrapped her arms around the little, ashen snowball of joy! When she said, Sparky, Lily knew this was her boy! She never wanted to put him down, and when their eyes connected, she felt a wonderful, warm, affectionate, mirror-like image of a puppy’s love in return.

Lily bought Sparky Boy, and together they headed home, where she prepared a cozy box for him in her room. She was extremely excited to share her days with Sparky Boy, who became a cherished member of a family and an important part of Lily’s life.

As is life, Lily had to work every day; however, the happiest time was after work, when she rushed home to see her loving puppy. When Sparky heard the sound of the door, he ran to greet Lily with exuberance!

As with any new puppy, Sparky needed to learn where to do his duty. Jokingly, Lily said, I will give you diapers, but of course she didn’t. She started in on housebreaking her pup.

As spring turned to summer, Sparky Boy learned to first use puppy pads indoors and then to make his deposits outside on the ground. In time, Sparky Boy learned to eat adult dog food. He matured, and his hair grew longer. Sparky was very content just to play; he loved playing with his doggie toys, balloons, and olive-green tennis balls. His bark was filled with happiness. As with all dogs, Sparky would occasionally nibble shoes when teething. He even nibbled Lily’s $200 shoes from Saks Fifth Avenue. Lily was content to wait for Sparky to grow up into a handsome, mature dog.
