Description

This week Lightfoot finds himself still on the canal boat but he is starting to want to get off. He is hungry and lonely. Lightfoot talks some more to the horses on board and finds some hay that was left behind but cannot jump high enough to get out of the hold of the canal boat. He gets lucky when they start loading the hold with coal. At the end of the first day there is a hill of coal that Lightfoot is able to climb up on to get out and he is free again.
