Vusumzi Sinobholo

Vusumzi Sinobholo is the author and inspirational leader.He gets invited on Radio from time to time where he inspires and touches lives in his locality. He is a pastor of the church in Diepsloot, South Africa, Jesus The Foundation Bible Church. He is the former Secretary and current executive member of Diepsloot Pastors Fraternal in South Africa. As Secretary of the Fraternal he has met Members of Parliament, Executive Mayors, Members of the Provincial Executive in government (MECs) and Members of the Mayoral Committees (MMCs) in the City where he ministers, Johannesburg. This is the opportunity he used to advance and put developmental issues and community uplifment in the agenda of government leaders. He has been active in the community known for high levels of crime and deep economic problems. This is where he is working in making a difference to effect the wheels of change. He has been part of campaigns to undo these happenings, namely mass prayers against these said evils, moral regeneration events, campaigns that discourages the acts of crime, drug free campaigns, and so on. In his writings and speaking engagements he encourages those who think it is the end when they are facing a hill of challenges. He always gives people hope, encouragement, and a sense of knowing that God is with them in all the challenges they may face. I thank my father Mr. Deti Sinobholo, who went through a lot whilst I have been going through training in ministry, my maternal granny Ms. Minah Siyaca, who has been there for me in times of need. Introduction

In The Midst Of Adversity book seeks to address the big issues the humankind is facing to lead a normal life. We look at a wide variety starting from the problems and challenges that seem indispensable from the human eyes, however when putting your trust in the Lord they are your breakfast and supper, they are nothing, and they help you learn from them. Life experiences can be a good teacher if you choose to learn from, than allowing them to crush you to a point of no return. They can be your stepping stone to greater heights.

The human race need some facelift in terms of life’s challenging and demoralizing effects and people who will walk the walk with them. Their self-esteem can be severely challenged by their adverse situations when growing up, some situations are man-made, and others are just things that life throws at you. The past can propel you to greater things whilst it can destroy you as the person and even shatter your dreams if not properly dealt with. This book gives advice as to how to deal with it and become the person God created you to be, the whole person, full of contentment, achieving great things. You cannot leave issues unresolved in your life; otherwise they will rear their ugly head in the long run and ruin not only your life, but the life of your descendants. What we do now or what we go through does not only affect us, but our children also, the people around us, our children’s children. An insecure person tends to affect everyone around her, especially those who look up to him. The baggage of inferiority complex is a fixable problem. Many people who don’t know who they are tend to cause problems in the family, community, and society as a whole. Someone who doesn’t know h9ow significant he is, he tends to go with every wind that comes, if the doctrine goes this direction he follows, if it goes the other direction he follows also. There is nothing that this person stands on; nothing he believes in, everything is okay with him, no principled position on any issue. Go through the road with us in the book to unblock the bottlenecks in your life. Someone said the moment you stop learning that is the moment you stop growing, we learn from people who were there before us, from those who are in our midst who have one or two things to teach us.

When people go through things in their lives they think that they are there on their own, none is there to help you. God is not only there to help you out of that situation. God is there with you in good times and in bad times, whether you have or you don’t have, whether rain nor shine, He said He will never leave you nor forsake you. The best way is to understand and know that your father is there for you and He loves you, that situation will come to pass. There is nothing impossible with God. We have the responsibility to our government as Christians. What we want to see in our government we have to pray that out. God has given us the keys to unlock and to lock, to bind and to loosen. We have all authority as our Lord have it all, we have the ability to make things happen as we have power to create with our lips. None as powerful as a Christian in this world. God trust us in this world with creating things. There is no excuse for mediocrity for Christians, we are spiritually born to be successful and be the best in what we do as the book encapsulates it. No matter how adverse the situation can be, you have all the strength and ability to overcome. The governments of the world or our government may be having political power, we have universal power, the power that controls everything in the universe and in heaven, therefore, we may not have influence in the political circles, which are in the physical world, however we have a lot in the spiritual that controls both the spiritual and the physical.

Our prayers in many ways impacts policy formulation processes. You may not be aware but it makes a lot of impact. Never neglect your responsibility of being an intercessor for your government, its people and your

country which is well alluded to in this book. Governments-authorities, are appointed by God, therefore it is God’s will that Christians and everyone work with them, that there be order in the countries. There are many indications and signs of the end times. We see them more in our lifetime than in any other times. We are the generation that have seen and experienced many of the prophesied things of the end times. This book covers broadly about these events written in the scriptures which are witnessed today more than ever in the history of this world. These are written research findings, and publications that gives you a better picture of what is happening in other parts of the world, as the bible does not only reflects the incidents and events of certain countries but those of all the countries and nations. These events are to be experienced by humankind and not only specific people.

The world today is filled with greed, self-centeredness, and so on, hence the gap between the have and the have not, widens without decreasing. Those who are advantaged economically make sure they keep those opportunities for themselves, and their close allies. We cite in the book the type of economic system that is acceptable in the heavenly kingdom which brings us more resources and the satisfaction of the inner self, which is the original intention of God, with wealth.
