Anointed and chosen by God, Prophetess Lois J. Parchment was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida. It was in Mount Hermon AME church where the Lord decided the time had come for her to go forth with the calling and ministry he predestined for her. On September 4, 1994, she was ordained as a Reverend under Senior Pastor/Prophet Wayne Parks of Full Gospel Church. It was under this Spiritual covering that marked the beginning of the manifestation of God's anointing and spiritual gifts in her life. Apostle submits herself unto the Lord by fasting, praying and seeking God's face. She has an awesome Apostolic/Prophetic anointing upon her life. She flows, teaches, and preaches under the direction of the Holy Spirit. God also uses her to restore broken hearts, spirit, homes, and families. She has conducted seminars, youth crusades, women conferences, revivals and has also ministered to inmates at local detention centers. God has blessed her with the opportunity to travel within the United States and abroad, as well. The Lord opened the door in March of 2001 and Apostle Parchment along with four others began to have prayer and bible study at her grandmother's home located in the Fort Lauderdale area. Soon thereafter, by direction of the Holy Spirit, on April 11, 2001, Awakening True Vine International Outreach Ministries Inc. was established. Although the church started with a few members, God has continually added to the ministry both spiritually and naturally. He has blessed the church with a weekly radio broadcast on a local radio station and the opportunity to begin a television ministry. On April 27, 2002, Awakening True Vine Ministries #2 was established in Live Oak, Florida. There are also plans to establish other churches within the upcoming years. The church is affiliated with Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches & Ministries Intl.

So you say you want change? Have you thought lately, why am I still in the same predicament? I have been stagnant to long. My relationships are not working. My family is in disarray. The finances are low and I don’t know which way to turn. If you have asked any of these questions, and maybe some not listed; then you have picked up the right book. A change must come.

As you go through the pages, you will be drawn a picture as to how you can change. The diagram is for everyday living. How to change your life for the better in Jesus. This is just a guide and not the Bible itself. So I would ask that you also use the Bible along with this book.

The ministry is founded by God and structured on the principles of His Word and by the total direction of the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to spread the Good News worldwide and to equip and empower others with the full knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. Our objective is to not only spread the Gospel, but to provide food, clothing, and shelter to those in need: thereby exemplifying Christ, in truth, love, charity, peace, compassion, humility, integrity, unity, and holiness. To reach out to the hopeless, the homeless, the elderly, widows, widowers, and people who have been abused mentally and physically, single parents, drug addicts, alcoholics, and those who have been rejected by family members, friends, and/or society. Also enabling them to not only be self-sufficient and productive, but to be dependent upon God and His spoken word.

INTRODUCTION

Change is ordained by God, inspired by God and required by God. God is doing a new thing in this season. As you walk this walk of faith, ask yourself: How can you be changed? Do you want change? What is change? As you ponder on the answers to the questions, I would like to take you on an adventure. An adventure that will open your eyes to realize that change is inevitable. Look at the world around us, the economy is changing, time changes and yes even we are changing. For the first time in history an African American was elected and re-elected a second term as President of the United States. Yes, as the world is changing around us we must also change. Change is not just a product of society, there has to be a change from within mentally, physically and spiritually. As we go through the pages, my prayer is that your life, your soul and your mind is transformed by the holy ghost. I pray that you open your mind and your heart to receive what the Lord has to share with you. I pray that God gives you revelation as you read the pages and the words jump out and speak to your soul. Grab your bible and a notepad as we travel together to our destiny of change.

I would like to take this time to thank those who have traveled over the years on my personal journey of change. First and foremost, my daddy, the lover of my soul, first in my life Jesus Christ. I can not omit the person who gave me natural life, my mother Betsey Johnson, and my late grandmother, Josephine Nash, who not only introduced me to Jesus, but raised me and directed me. The word of God states Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6 NKJV) I would like to thank all of the spiritual leaders who allowed me to be used by the Holy Spirit in the house of the Lord. I thank my church congregation of Awakening True Vine International Outreach Ministries for not only believing in the vision that God birth in their Pastor, but also undergirding the ministry and assisting in making the vision a reality. I thank all of you for deciding to make a change in your life. I applaud you for taking the first step by purchasing this tool to lead you to the change and the destiny that God has called and ordained for you.

I am Apostle, Prophetess, Pastor Lois Parchment founder of Awakening True Vine International Outreach Ministries. I am a product of God’s change in this time, the Holy Spirit laid upon my heart that a change was coming in 2006. I sat back and watched the change, a shift in the atmosphere from the year of 2006 until present. There was not only change in the natural but also in the spiritual realm. I am a leader that just keeps it real. The language in this book is not complicated but easy to understand. I’m talking to women, men, youth, leaders and anyone who truly desires change.

Chapter 1

A Change Must Come

During your time of your walk with God, there are things that you have to deal with within yourself to allow God to purge and cleanse you, purify you in his blood and water, so that you can become more like him. There will be times you have to be careful that you don’t fall in the frame of mind that you think you got it going on with God and God said you don’t. God is telling you that there needs to be a continuing cleansing in you. I thank God that he is doing something within me so that I can become what he has chosen me to be for his Glory. Jesus is my friend and my everything. When we see him for what he really is in us, we should be more hungry and thirsty after righteousness and holiness through Jesus. We should never be satisfied and say this is all I want from God; we should want more of him and less of us. Every day we should present ourselves a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable to his reasonable services; not our will, but let his will be done in our lives. Thy kingdom come and thy will be done as it is on earth and let it be done in heaven.
