About this ebook

As Lucien, the millenial vampire in search of "ethical blood" regains his memories, his renewed contact with his cousin Lauren reveals that she's allergic to garlic.

Intersting...  it might be a false alarm, but it might also mean Lauren will soon need a guide to the world of the Undead.

This stand-alone short story is one of several in the Lucien Honore Martel world, where Millenial vampires seek consensual blood donors the way they used to hunt down sources of organic baby kale while still alive.

An eccentric, just like he was.

Except this eccentric had to get out of his padded coffin and answer the damn phone.

With a groan, Lucien shoved up the heavy, carved lid and rolled out.

The room was perfect for his night vision, the curtains covered the windows in elegant folds of off-spec blue velour he found at an upholstery discount warehouse, and his bedroom door was still securely shut.

The screen of his smartphone shone bright, even in its perpetual night mode and
