They were settling in for the night, having gone out earlier to an upscale Mexican restaurant for dinner.

Before their entrees were finished, they had consumed a bottle of cabernet between them, and when Scott signalled for another, Missy had gently waved him off. One of them had to drive, she reminded him. He smiled and ordered waters instead.

The food was excellent, but spicy, and they both found themselves drinking quite a bit of water before they ordered dessert. In the end, it was a much better choice than wine, Scott thought.
