    INTRODUCTION

The sinful nature which a true Christian strives to kill was the product of sin which comes by hearing, seeing and responding to what the devil told our first parent to do.

The new nature in Christ is the product of God’s righteousness which we receive when we respond to what we hear and see in the gospel of Christ. Nothing is birthed in us when it comes to these lives I mention, without responding to the words, spoken to us. The birth of the old man and the new man comes by the revelation of the word spoken, which are the word’s material. For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. Rom. 5:19.

Here it refers to the two persons, the evil person formed in sin in Adam and the good person formed in righteousness in Christ Jesus. It is neither wise nor advisable that a Christian should strive on his own power to put off the old man without the revelation of the gospel being supplied to him every day; he will never prevail. He must see what he puts on before he could acts on those instructions. To put off one and put on another is based on feeding in one direction and leave the other to die. It calls for a response to what one hears and sees in one direction. The response at this ground, is indeed the true act of obedience to what one hears and sees. When Jesus said that "many of the Jews were hindered by God from responding to the gospel (See Jon 12:37-41.  He means that even though they claim that they do the work of God, they had not come to the true state to do so.

They must first hear with the ears of the spirit and see with the eyes of the spirit, so that they can truly respond to the call of God and be healed. The supernatural world is open to us like that. That one is a child of God because he has been given the power to operate in the kingdom of God through the revelation of the gospel of Christ; goes with the devils’ children also.

The revelation word is the only true realm for the true obedience. We can never obey God when we could not hear and see his light. Hearing at this time, is receiving the breath from God which is life. Seeing is absorbing the life through the light revealed to us in the gospel. When man comes to this state, he has obtained a different form of life because he is given the privilege to hear and see the glory in the gospel of Christ. In this book: As She Was Hearing, She Was Seeing; God revealed to us that it is impossible to be His true follower without having the ears to hear His words and the eyes to see His glory in the person of Christ.

It is good that we should seek these endowment or we will be like the religious professor, who possesses none but mere religion. He may claim that he is in God’s service while in reality he is working for Satan. He might have done many religious works which we can never tell whether they are true or false until they are judged by the light. The life of Christ in us is the life which qualifies us to do good works and this life is given to us through His word. So, as you seat back to read this book, you will observe that it is wrong to act in the name of Christ without having this life of Christ, which many Christian professors do these days. The power to do the real work is given as Jesus said, to do the work of God is to believe in the one sent (John 6:29). To believe in Him, one needs to hear him, see his glory and respond to what he both heard and
