The Cross Splits The World: The Protest, The Price and The Power of The Cross of Jesus Christ
By A C Cuddy
()
About this ebook
Jesus is the only way to God and eternity in Heaven.
Only through Jesus’ finished work on the Cross can you be saved.
What is it about those two statements that make the Cross of Jesus Christ so offensive that those words cause such turmoil among brothers that friendships and family ties can be forever broken?
It is because of what the Cross of Jesus Christ represents; the recognition of the wickedness of mankind and the impossibility of eternity with God in Heaven because of our wickedness. I believe the break between brothers comes when the TRUTH of the need of a Savior clashes with the personal belief that each of us is our own savior and entrance into Heaven is based solely on our good deeds and leading a good life.
This book presents the unvarnished TRUTH of the Price, The Protest and the Power of the Cross of Jesus Christ.

Hello and welcome, my name is Ann. I’m a Christian, Blogger, Author, Teacher and most of all a Daughter of the Most High King. I don’t have a long list of degrees or titles. I have just one title - forgiven. I live a fairly quiet life in New Hampshire with Michael, writing the words He gives me. I’m just a simple woman who’s been given the opportunity to live an amazing life. Writing has been just a hobby since my teen years that I’ve not really taken it seriously until this last year. I hope that you will follow, linkup, and like what I might have to say by way of these social media icons.

Note from the author - The name of satan and his related names are not capitalized. I choose not to acknowledge him, even to the point of violating grammatical rules.
This book has been a year in the making, with a tremendous amount of research, reading and learning. I have made every attempt to give proper credit to every quotation I have used in this book. If I have written anything that should be attributed to another author, it is purely by accident and in no way an attempt to take another’s words as my own; my full apologies to the original author.

Endnotes
To Him who loves me and has washed me from my sins by His own blood; Jesus Christ, my King. You are the Lover of my soul, the Redeemer of my life, my Reason and my Purpose. For in You I live and move and have my being. Acts 17:28
With special thanks to my husband Michael for his contributions to this endeavor and for his unconditional and continued love and unwavering support.
The Cross splits the world. Either you look at it and think - that’s pathetic or you look at it and you think - that’s powerful. If you think it’s pathetic, Paul says you are perishing. But if you think it’s the ‘Power of God’ you are being saved. But it’s one or the other.
~ Billy Graham
Foreword
I am a Christian woman, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, writer, student, teacher, speaker, and so many other titles. However, the one title that I treasure above all is Daughter of the Most High King
.
You see, even though I am a woman and a wife and I live a Christ-centered marriage, anointed and blessed by God, I am first a blood-bought, Spirit-filled, born again, eternity assured, follower of Jesus Christ. I am a wholly blessed Daughter of the King.
With that comes my list of I believe.
I believe in the Holy Trinity - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
I believe in the Deity of Jesus, His virgin birth, His death at the Cross, His resurrection from the grave, and His much-anticipated physical return to this world wherein He will set up the Kingdom of God on this earth for all eternity. I believe in the eternal TRUTHS of the Bible. I believe the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God. I believe in the personhood of Holy Spirit, His in-dwelling in the lives of the followers of Jesus Christ, and His continuing work and the impartation of miraculous gifts in and through the lives of believers.
Now, in addition, I am also a middle-aged, heterosexual woman living in what sometimes feels like an up-side-down world. It is becoming increasingly problematical to speak the TRUTHS of my faith without being labeled politically incorrect, emotionally insensitive, inconsiderate, intolerant and thoughtless to the diversity of lifestyle choices and the wide and an ever-changing assortment of beliefs, positions, ideals and mindsets of friends, family and acquaintances and even total strangers who chime in on what I write.
I am finding more and more that my words, opinions, testimony, and actions provoke such visceral reactions that I have been called a trigger
(though I am not positive that I know exactly what that means on any given day… I am pretty sure it is not a compliment). I am abundantly aware that my beliefs have, and will continue to, put me at odds with family, friends and a growing segment of society in general, and TRUTH be told, I am okay with that.
I believe that there is one singular path to salvation and to eternal life in Heaven with God Almighty; that path is only through the atoning work of Jesus Christ at the Cross.
Jesus said, I am the way and the TRUTH and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me
John 14:6
The TRUTH of the resurrection of Jesus has been under unrelenting attack since the days of the Apostles. Why? Because it is the fundamental evidence of Jesus' identity as the incarnate Son of God, and the definitive sign of His completed work of atonement, redemption, reconciliation, and salvation.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ separates Christianity from all other religions. Christianity without the literal, physical resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is merely one religion among many.
And if Christ is not risen, said the Apostle Paul,
then our preaching is empty and your faith is in vain". (1 Corinthians 15:14) a
Acts 4:12 states, Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
And that name is Jesus.
To the non-believer, that one verse can bring rage, con-tempt and even hatred toward the speaker. In their eyes, those words, that single sentence is seen as egotistical, exclusive, and elitist. It strikes the ears of the non-believing listener with such shock and awe, raising the hackles among them that their only retort is resentment, wrath, and rage.
We live in a complex world where anybody with a keyboard can
