The Robotic Presidential Order
America 2.0 Life after humans?
By Aaron Lee Johnson
INTRODUCTION
This book creates a vivid story of the future advancement in human technology. It tells us how humans created genetic artificial intelligence systems called BIODROIDS that looked like humans and could even learn human emotions. Among the biodroid types created were the MECHANOS (military grade biodroids), the KREES (Politically and Intellectually inclined biodroids), the CINDYS (Household helping biodroids), the METALCOPS (policing and Interactive security biodroids), the DOCS (Medical and clinical health biodroids) and lastly the CLOWNODROIDS (Funny looking and entertainment biodroids). These biodroids all depended on a Central Power Core which contained the purest form of electricity for their existence. As the plot goes, because of the greed for power of some humans some rogue biodroids were created to control the others so as to seize power using these biodroids. Things went south and the biodroids evolved to destroy humanity after which they began their own civilization called America2.0. They elected a president, a former Military biodroid who had once served in the white house as a personal bodyguard to the president of the United States. His reign was blissful until some female congresswomen among the Krees decided to steal the control of power by attempting to take over the Central Power Core using robots known as warbots which were created by humans but had been enhanced by a priest turned scientist in one of the Krees Labs. Can their civilization be saved or will they repeat the mistake of their makers? The book will reveal step by step how this unfolds and how the only human alive helped them learn some lessons from humanity.
CHAPTER 1
It was the year 2057 just 17 years after my people the Biodroids
succeeded in reclaiming their freedom from the humans
who they claimed had enslaved them for the past four decades, but a new threat was arising, a threat far greater than the humans ever posed to the Biodroids. It was a threat from the Krees, a rebellion from within that could send them to extinction if not contained. But really who are the Biodroids, where did they come from? What greater threat could there be than that of their ultimate enemy the humans
? A brief flip back in memory lane will give us these answers because it is only by truly knowing the past that one can determine the future. Let us go back some 57 years to the year 2000 when the futuristic advancement began.
2000
The Creation
Just after the year 2000, everyone saw the greatest advancement in science and technology as humans discovered the art of creation and AI. Doctors Robert Danli, David Edger and Patricia Harris were the first to bring to life a fully automated robot that could carry out simple commands and do household chores. Subsequent years saw the creation of more advanced and comprehensive robots, but the grand breakthrough came in 2007 when Doctor Charles Carpenter created the first Biodroid. Doctor Charles Carpenter worked as a Robotics/Genetics engineer at the area 51 in Nevada. He had worked there for almost nineteen years when he decided to retire and spend more time with his family whom he had been neglecting due to his work. Doctor Charles had a wife named Rose whose health was steadily deteriorating due to reoccurring cancer, he also had a son he loved so much named Judus who just celebrated his seventeenth birthday two days before Doctor Charles returned. He was finally home with his family and feeling the greatest he had ever felt. Just two months after his return his wife passed away, leaving him just his son. He promised her that he would do everything possible to keep him safe and sound as she was on her deathbed. For his eighteenth birthday the doctor got his son a brand new Ford Mustang GT which he crashed on the first day he got it and lost his life. The doctor had never felt emptier in his entire life. Devastated, Charles started drinking and was often shit faced daily, until one day when he was sleepwalking in the garage and stubbled on some genetic and droid parts he had brought when he resigned. Determined to get back his son he started working on a new project he called Double Fusion
that is the fusion of genetic material and android system. This project meant everything to him and after two years of failing at creating this fusion, the doctor finally succeeded. He kept this project hidden for months as he taught it the basic human emotions. This could not be automatically imputed like every other system in this fusion, which was the first biodroid (a fusion of bio genetic material and an android operating system). The biodroid was smart and learned swiftly. The doctor named him Judus, after his son, who died in the car crash. He had created this biodroid named Judus to replace his dead son and had somehow managed to perfect the creation so much so that it could hardly be distinguished from an actual human. It possessed not only the human appearance but also human emotions as well as ambition "a trait that would lead it to its own demise. It superseded the humans in certain aspects such as physical abilities and accelerated learning and intellectual capacities as well as the ability to withstand harsh conditions. The biodroid however needs electricity for survival, a commodity which was readily available as at that time but will in time become a luxury. In his garage the doctor built a power core which generated the purest form of electricity to recharge the biodroid.
The Revelation
The National Tech Agency soon traced large power surges to the garage of Doctor Charles and he eventually revealed Judus who was immediately invited by the committee on Science and Technological Advancement.
While some were pleased and dumbfounded at the revelation of Judus even insisting that more biodroids should be made to fill all sectors like the police, hospitals, banks, etc. others were critical and skeptical about Judus. They merely saw him as a robot. One of such skeptical men was Mr. Swan a senior member of National Tech Agency. He said if a robot hurts somebody and says I thought he was just a robot like myself, what would you do?
Doctor Charles banged his fists on the desk. Assume robots can tell people from robots, assume that. ‘The Laws governing these biodroids are perfectly logical, right?’ asked another senior member of the National Tech Agency.
‘No but I mean that’s just a start. The biodroid has to figure out what harm and injury means just like a human child. I’ve got that worked out too. Then do you see how logical–?’ Mr Swan continued, I didn’t even mention these, how’s a robot surgeon gonna operate without cutting into anybody, how’s a robot cop gonna arrest anybody, how’s a robot soldier gonna kill anybody? A third doctor in support of introducing biodroids said, okay so let’s assume we don’t have biodroids doing any jobs like that, we still got to put people in charge risking their lives, people who will not be as efficient as these robots. We can’t let anybody come to harm by inaction that’s not doing nothing, just like not even existing. ‘Getting dark, Doctor Charles went around the room, turning on lights. ‘I think I see what you’re driving at, he said. If the biodroid doesn’t protect its own existence first and foremost, how can it be around later to prevent some human coming to harm?’
‘Yeah, Father, replied Judah that’s it. There’s always something to debate right away like somebody tries to shoot a guy and the biodroid gets in between. But take a biodroid farmer for example, he knows somebody might starve if he stopped work so he’s really gotta pertect himself forever. Everyone was astounded at his intelligence but Mr Swan stood up once again and said what if some kid just comes along and tells him to go jump off the highest building in the world he’s gotta go and do it, is that logical?’ Maybe not. But anyway take this Billionaire for example, he spends a Billion dollars on this custom-made robot as you call it
do you think he’s gonna let some kid come along and tell it to jump off a building? No he’s gonna program not to do self harm and to protect itself, like a program in martial arts and other things. ‘I see you’ve really gone into this, Judus said the Doctor. Can’t say I’ve really cleared all your doubts. Judus responded – but I am sure of one thing: robots in fiction and in real life share something in common. When the day comes– they will
